梨園旅館(The Pear Orchard Lodge)

A cozy beautiful European style cottage. The homemade bread and the cereals are delicious. We enjoy our stay very much.

Excellent stay to relax and enjoy nature. My partner was injured so we took some days here to do close to nothing but explore the farm, eat the ripe passionfruit from the garden, do short trips, and use the great kitchen to cook healthy meals. The host was nice, relaxing places to sit, and good beds. Only things to comment on, the WiFi a bit unstable in the evening.

Disappointing visit and place Host more interested on removing dead leaves from the grass than talking to you,, and lecturing you on the trash bins than welcoming you The coldest welcome we had from our overall trip to New Zealand Sonic isolation from the other rooms way below standards Beds not ok (mattress is ok, box spring not) Vegetation untamed, so there is zero view So, a place we were happy to leave, looked like just a source of income for the host.

A beautiful boutique accomodation set in the surrounding countryside of Richmond . Tastefully renovated with stunning views and elegant bedrooms . A little noisy in communal kitchen area in evening , otherwise great.

Great accomodation for a group. Big, well equipped kitchen, large dining table. Rooms very comfortable & spacious. Hosts wonderful. Beautiful NZ bush with walks. Close to Richmond, Nelson & the Great Taste Trail.

We loved our stay at the Shearer’s cottage . Private and stylish with a lovely private vista Timo was very accommodating and gave us some farm produce to enjoy . The fire place was great on cooler nights . Would visit again absolutely.

We were booked into pear orchard lodge after our camper van broke down Timo and his wife could not have done more for us the room was clean comfortable. The facilities were spotless The gave the run of the kitchen. The service even extended to allowing us to leave our luggage until we could pick it up later And also saved our lives when Timo found my wallet Thanks from 2greatful Brits hope you go from strength to strength Thanks again

A hidden gem in Hope near Nelson, NZ! After our tramping during 3 full days in Abel Tasman National park (which is only 1h drive from the orchard), we relaxed in this oasis of pear trees, passion fruits, sheep, chicken, etc. Beautiful sunsets on the deck with a local glass of wine along with our amazing host Timo's personal story made our stay the most memorable. Incredibly well-designed and spotless rooms and common areas are a great reminder to come back and stay longer next time. Thank you Timo for having us, we'll be back !

Great location in Hope with small farm vibe. Fresh farm- seasonal fruit on dining table is welcoming. Comfy bed. Excellent kitchen facilities & BBQ. Attentive host- helpful but not intrusive- lives nearby on farm. Country style luxe. Convenient for day trips North to Tasman NP, winery hills & Mapau- also ti Nelson about 10min drive away. nearby drive 2 some great local eateries & supply shops. Would definetely stay again .
