北霍舍姆普瑞米爾酒店(Horsham North)

I stayed here for business as I had a meeting in Horsham the following day. Let me start by saying, I have never had cause to complain or give a bad review for any other Premier Inn before and I have stayed in plenty of them, so this is a first for me. I just feel that people should be warned before they book. Yes, the hotel itself looks very tired and could do with a refresh, but the main issue I had (and by the looks of it other guests have had the same issue) is that the room was unbearably hot. From the moment I walked in, I was sweating and very uncomfortable. I went out for dinner and dreaded going back to the room. There was a fan provided but this just blew hot air around and made no difference whatsoever. There is no air con and the windows only open very slightly so you can't even let any air in. I'm sure prisoners have better sleeping conditons! I don't think I slept at all. I even called reception at 2am to ask if I could move to another/cooler room but they said it was full. I was offered a sheet to use instead of a blanket to which I just laughed and said its too hot for a sheet! I am usually a very nesh person so for me to feel so hot is something. Also, I checked the outdoor temp and at 2am it was 14 degrees outside so not extreme weather. I submitted a complaint and the response I had was there is no air con and they make you aware of this when booking as it is not listed as a facility- very helpful. Fortunately I managed to keep my eyes open through my meeting and my 3 hour drive home. Note for Premier Inn- either invest in some air con or close the place down. I dread to think what it would be like staying there in a heatwave! I would imagine it would be dangerous for some people.

Having stayed at this one and the other in the town centre over the last few weeks with work, there are some good points and bad for both. The air con in this one is non existent, there isn't any, your given a fan in your room, and as the window only opens about 3 inches you will get hot, best you can do is a cold shower before bed and have the fan on you all nite, the one in the town centre has air con and it works very well. Food in this one is at the beefeater next door, great choice of food for dinner and breakfast and it's nice, I would say the meal deal (3 course for £25) is bland in my opinion, other than that food is great. The one in town, breakfast is good but the dinner choice is limited, about 3 thing's and if your staying for a few days you will probably want to eat out, and being in the town centre your never far away from somewhere to eat. Parking in this one is good, plenty of spaces and it's free, the one in town has no parking, although it is next door to a multi storey and that is your only place to park, it is free from 2000 to 0700 but in between its about £3 ish a hour. Location, this one is about 30 yards from Horsham train station so ideal if you wana use the train, the one In town is about 15 min walk from train station, not far at all. Both premier inn are comfortable, big beds, big rooms, clean, the usual, both quite, etc.... Staff in both are very helpful and pleasant as you'd expect.

We stayed here for the night before heading on to Butlin's. The rooms were incredibly hot. There was a fan provided but it didn't make much difference. At breakfast there were no meat free sausages left. We had to order the hot food with the waiter who, unfortunately, got 2 of the orders wrong. Next time we will check if the other Premier Inn nearby has air conditioning as it's not far from this one.

This really is a budget hotel in quality tho not in price. £85 room-only, room not made up unless you specially request it, room stuffy even with window open and fan on all night, bed not comfy and duvet far too thick for summer. Only saving grace was friendly staff who were as helpful as they were able to be within Premier's poor arrangements. We are unlikely to book a Premier Inn again

The window only opens 3inches and there is no air conditioning so the room totally overheats and is airless. I lay awake sweating all night. You have to ask for the room to be serviced, which I did, but it still did not happen. The best thing is that there is car parking available…if you can find a space!

The most basic of premier inns... beware that this is in a VERY noisy location. No air conditioning but were provided with a large fan, again noisy. Got no sleep whatsoever. Would not stay here again.

Very good accommodation and restaurant. Very close to the Train station. Ingrid was especially helpful in the Beefeater Restaurant and the Breakfast and evening meal was delicious. My room was very comfortable and the receptionist very helpful. Definitely recommend

Stayed here to allow us a early morning collection of family from Gatwick. Room clean and tidy and provided my wife help with her medical needs . Food next door was very good well coked and very hot. Service was very good

The hotel staff were friendly and the location near the station, Horsham Park and town was perfect. The hotel itself is a bit tired and although the breakfast and dinner food was great at the Beefeater, it seems a bit understaffed as had to wait quite a while at both meals for orders to be taken. The staff were very nice though.
