伊萊姆酒店(Hotel Ylem)

The hotel is terrible. Don't go. It's impossible to stay in a hotel. We booked for three days and we didn't check in. We asked for our money back, and I didn't get it. The hotel was very damp and had a musty smell. I am ill and can't live in such bad conditions. We wanted to check out. They never gave us a check out. The room was very grey and musty！！！ The website doesn't solve anything！！！ 酒店非常的糟糕，千万别去。根本没法在酒店呆着。我们预订了三天，我们没有入住。我们要求退钱，也没给我退钱。 酒店非常潮湿，还有一股发霉的味道。我生着病，不能住在这样糟糕的环境。我们想退房，一直没给我们退。 预定房间的网站也解决不了任何问题！！！

The room was filthy microwave was disgusting bathroom sink was disgusting it reeked of smoke even tho it was a non smoking room. My husband and I was extremely disappointed an dissatisfied the headboard was disgusting it was a complete disaster a 190 bucks down the drain

Pros: Bed comfort. Hotel location to NRG park/stadium. Variety of shopping is close by. Cons: In 2023 what hotel doesn’t have early check in. A hard 3PM check in made if awful because after a long flight/drive I just want to relax in the room for a bit, not waste time until 3PM. The room had an awful smell for the first day like someone cooked curry in the room. Made my first night really rough.The continental breakfast says service stopped at 10AM but everything was out by 9AM and wasn’t restocked. Heater/AC unit didn’t work well at all. The parking lot had stadium style lighting that leaked into the room no matter how the curtain was manipulated. The hotel is clearly in a high crime area and they have so much light it almost feels like daylight 24/7 outside the window. Shower towels were order for someone the size of a young child.

The location of this property is great if going to a game at NRG. The hotel on the surface looks nice , but pretty much looks like they tried to give a cosmetic upgrade to a cheap hotel. The room itself was pretty terrible. The musty smell of the room as among the worst I have smelled . The shower has zero water pressure and was lukewarm at best. The tv in the room was way too small for the size of the room. The breakfast was mediocre and drinks at the bar were not good. The staff was nice , but room was not serviced. Fitness room was closed. Walls were paper thin and the hotel was noisy overall. One positive was the shuttle driver they had to take people to the stadium, He was 5 star .

Staff was friendly and hotel was cool. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. So close to NRG stadium and there was even a shuttle. The bar was a lot of fun. The bartender Alex was so much fun too. Great drinks and company. I’d stay here again. Too bad I was told it was turning into a Fairfield Inn.

I had reservations about this hotel because it was not a nationally owed hotel. However, I was really quite surprised. It is an older hotel however it is the coolest older hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were clean. the location was good with easy parking . The front desk person was very friendly and the coffee was available 24/7. The atmosphere was very unique. I will be staying here again.
