Location nice. Isolated from New Market crowd though apprx 50 yards from market. Staffs are supportive and friendly. Breakfast medium. Taxi and public transport available nearby. Road and hotel entry side room with window is better. Some Kolkata attractions such as Victoria memorial, Park Street, Indian museum etc are in short distance. Lots of street shops though very crowded.

Cockroach all over place inside the room , bathroom appliances is old & dirty-living facility VS price is too high, not recommended for any overseas visitors.

Though the hotel is centrally located and very near to street shopping but the property is pretty old and not maintained. Furniture is atleast 2-3 decades old, rooms are stinky. I had A horrible experience with the food. I ordered seas food, and got stale food which was stinking, I am sure, even Cats and dogs will not touch that. More surprising is the FnB staffs behaviour, they took it as routine and not even bothered to check.

The cleaning of our room was very poor. The Wi-Fi did not work. The hot water was unreliable. We asked for a quiet room and were disturbed by an alarm that went off regularly from a freight elevator. Our refrigerator did not work and they said they would replace it. They never did. We were there 3 days. Breakfast was only passable. The lobby is nice, but beyond that it was a disappointment! Run , don’t walk away!

I love this hotel, its my second time staying at this hotel.

Was there for 3 days. Prime location for shopping. Had hot water for showers, free breakfast with variety of foods. Not a boring place. Clubs, restaurants and shops were plenty. People working at the hotels were friendly.

We stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is right next to New Market. Rooms are big and sofa can be used as bed for kids. Breakfast was provided in room and quality / quantity was good. Limited parking spaces are available. There is a restro-bar called Sunset in the same campus. Had a good experience.

This hotel is highly OVERRATED as a 4-star and not really ready for hosting guests! While the staff made efforts to rectify gaps in service, the ***agement has not equipped them to deliver good quality service. 1. “Confirmed” room unavailability - pre-confirmed and reconfirmed suite was not available and we were put in separate rooms in an older wing under renovation. 2. Check-in nightmare - beyond the room change, the check-in process was very slow and the access keycards provided didn’t work. We were shifted again to two other rooms where the issue continued throughout our stay. 3. Elevator/lift quality and availability - the access areas were blocked with furniture and construction materials with frequent unavailability of the lift, not to mention the dust and noise. 4. WIFI unavailability - totally UNAVAILABLE for most of our stay & we had to escalate the issue multiple times to then be told by the IT guy that there really was no WIFI on the floor area we were moved again to (despite being reassured otherwise). 5. Bathroom condition - poor water pressure in the flush, black silt in the bidet water, no hot water, poor quality towels that left huge amounts of lint 6. Smoking in non-smoking common areas - no compliance by some guests and no enforcement by the ***agement; and we had to repeatedly ask the offenders to stop smoking outside our rooms. This experience erodes trust in the hotel booking process via travel portals.
