哈德斯菲爾德中心普里米爾酒店(Huddersfield Central)

We chose this hotel as it is just off of the Town Centre but located next too a canal. You can actually see the canal boats outside of the room. We always book the breakfast at Premier Inn as this sets us up for the day. We had a corner room, just a short walk away from reception and parking was immediately outside and free for guests.

The staff helped out soo much they informed me on where was best to visit in Huddersfield and even gave me directions this hotel has a free car park and a lovely restaurant,I would visit again soon they have lovely management who showed me to my room and made sure I had everything I needed. I would recommend.

As I arrived to the hotel and walked to the Reception, there are 3 members of staff (1 male and 2 females) behind the desk, but they are all 3 busy with other stuff (paperwork, computer, etc) and none of the 3 can be bothered to check-in any of the 3 different parties waiting. Instead they politely invite you to seat and wait for the guy to finish his own stuff, and only them he started to pay attention to the paying waiting customers. The room is OK but the floor carpet looks outdated and dirty. The drywall in the corner with the outside wall has a crack running from floor to ceiling. The TV in the room looks like a toy, and it wasn't working either as the antenna cable was disconnected from the wall. The bed and bathroom looks clean and comfy. Don't expect any complementary toiletries or bottled water in the room. The whole room and hotel look outdated and it need of some TLC. Their Check-Out time is 12:00 and they rigorously enforce it to the minute. Beware: You may found all your stuff in a plastic bag at reception. As it happened to me, even thought I phoned to inform then that I would be 30 minutes late and they told me "No problem. Just go to reception when you arrive." In reality I was 19 minutes late and all my stuff was already at Reception, and when I commented to the lady at Reception that I was shocked, as this is the first time in my life that a hotel has packed my personal possessions for a 19 minutes delay, even though they granted me a 30 minutes extension on the phone, she replied to me with a cutting, straight: "It's in the Terms & Conditions". Maybe she should be replaced with an automatic self check-in/out system. It will be as cold, compassionate and understanding as her, but cheaper to run and more efficient.

While staying at the Hotel, I had my usual meal deal. Big shout to Beth who could not do enough for me... I had a double starter (starving) and I know that the butter with the prawn cocktail is like a frozen slab in all the Prem Inn's I stay out... I asked nicely "if" it could be warmed.... Not a problem. Everything I asked for was completed with a smile, a perfectly cooked steak (thanks Chef) and during the stay Sam also played a part. Beth - your attention to detail and customer service was excellent and you seem like you simply come to not do a shift but graft hard and do the best you can all of the time! Well done. Mr Bond

This is a lovely Premier Inn right next to the canal with some lovely views of the canal from the rooms. The staff in both the hotel and the restaurant couldn't be friendlier and we were delighted with the coolness of the bedroom for a good nights sleep and the quality of the food for breakfast and dinner. It really was great. We found that the Premier Inn was well located for the 15 minute walk to the train station or the bus station which meant that we didn't have far to go from the station and also could get the bus to the other areas of West Yorkshire that we needed to get to.

The welcome on arrival was everything you'd expect. However, Tony went above and beyond. At check-in he assisted us directly to our room and then when arriving back after our night in Huddersfield he then assisted with our nightcap. Hotel staff couldn't do enough xx

Pas de nettoyage de la chambre après la première nuit: lit non fait, serviettes laissées humides dans la baignoire, poubelles non vidées alors qu un dîner à emporter avait été pris la veille Ça n est plus de l hôtellerie !

Well located hotel with excellent access and parking. It's really well situated giving good views over the canal and moorings. Likewise it's only a short walk up hill into the town centre. The staff were outstanding both in the hotel and the associated bar/restaurant. Good clean facilities and the usual breakfast was more than enough for the day.

We have stayed here lots of times now and its just a lovely hotel. Reception are brilliant and there are usually 2 people on it. They give you a lovely warm welcome and are very efficient and helpful. Location is great. On the canal, next to The Aspley pub and restaurant and very close to Huddersfield Town and The Smile Bar is just across the road, which is a fabulous music venue. The bedding, pillows and mattress are totally devine and luxurious. They are the very best and most comfortable we have ever slept on. They are always so fresh and clean and I cannot fault. Always a fantastic stay with free parking & luxury toiletries and excellent value for money. Also massive bonus of 12 noon checkout!
