阿爾莫特旅館(Armot Guesthouse)

Petit cottage très sympas, chaleureux. Nous avons aimé sa situation géographique loin des grandes routes et le calme que le lieu nous réservait. Idéal de s’y retrouver après nos journées de randonnées. Le personnel pas loin mais très discret car nous sommes complètement autonomes. Paysage magnifique, des chevaux jamais bien loin. Je voudrais déjà y retourner…😁 Je recommande sans hésiter!!

Beautiful location and lovely guesthouse on a nice farm. We arrived pretty late here around 10 PM and our stay was ruined by by wet sheets for the sofa bed. I msged the property and they did respond by offering to give me directions to where I can go find alternate sheets. Being very exhausted, just wanted to eat dinner and goto bed. Tried to adjust by using the extra comforter as a sheet but when we went to bed past 11, found that was wet as well. Had a horrible night sleep as we tried to shuffle sleeping arrangements. They did offer us free bfast for the inconvinience but wasn't able to make use of it as we had to rush to the airport in the morning. Overall the only place in our almost 2 week trip around Iceland that was not great. In general, it could be great place and maybe our experience was an anomaly but for the price we paid was not at all satisfied with our stay.

Lovely place with anazing views. Room was spacious and modern. Beds very cosy and comfy. Problem with flies in the summer...too many flying in the room and breakfast area. Fly spray needed and cover food over to stop flies landing on it. The road leading.....one road quite gravely....for 8km once off route 1.

Quaint guesthouse on a real Icelandic horse farm. We stayed at the apartment, which had lots of space, full-stocked kitchen (although we could not find silverware!), and bathroom. It was lovely to wake up to horses roaming free outside our window. The breakfast was delicious and appreciated. We'd stay there again as it was convenient on our road trip.

We were blessed to find this gem after an unexpected bad experience elsewhere. The beauty and serenity of the guesthouse’s apartment unit completely got us back on track. We stayed for three nights, and headed out travelling each day. There were many local conveniences (grocery, gas, restaurants, etc) and the well-stocked apartment made us feel right at home the minute we walked in. Being from a rural area in southern Ontario, we appreciated being on a farm in Iceland. Would highly recommend this property, especially for those looking for solitude.

Luogo bellissimo, sistema di gestione del self check-in simpatico ed elegante. Ottima pulizia, bagno in comune ma non è inusuale da queste parti. Meravigliosa sala comune con macchina per il caffè disponibile. Unica, non piccola, pecca, la colazione dalle otto con la preparazione della stessa che inizia a quell’ora. Veramente poco pratico il tutto in un unico tavolo.

Armot is a secluded, very large horse farm with only 6 guest rooms. Five share 2 bathrooms, but we had the junior suite with our own very large bathroom and a balcony. We loved the fact that we could go to the stables and visit and pet the horses anytime. They had a very large room on the second floor for people to gather. It was beautifully done, and you could relax and view the horses in all directions. My only complaint was the breakfast. There was not enough food for all of the guests and the selection was very limited. This is not the place you want to stay in if you want to be in the middle of a tourist area. It is about 5 miles off the main route and perfect for relaxing. The guest house in on the left in the pictures.

We had one of three super nice apartments that the Guesthouse offers, booked through *******, where a kitchenette was mentioned, and we encountered a fully equipped kitchen with table for four persons. All new, modern style, comfy bed as well as bed sofa, nice bathroom and shower. The main building has a stylish lounge and terrace on the upper floor and free coffee and tea is available there.

Bellissimo cottage tra i tantissimi e splendidi cavalli della guesthouse. Molto spaziosa la zona giorno con cucina molto grande completa di ogni accessorio. 3 belle stanze per ogni persona con finestre. Letti molto comodi. Bagno grande con finestra e lavatrice. Tutto perfetto.
