Cheticamp Outback Inn

Great cozy room. Good wifi, nice amenities, and only 4 minutes drive to downtown Cheticamp. Look forward to returning.

Stopped here during our cabot trail road trip. Cheticamp Outback Inn is very well maintained and very clean. If you are looking to stay in Cheticamp, this place is all you need! Bed was comfortable, lots of hot water , coffee maker with a variety of coffee,usb wall chargers, wifi worked well. We met Michelle (owner). She gave us so many suggestions on things to do and see on our trip in the area.

Well , let me be up front and to the point — I’ve travelled quite a bit in my day and I never was greeted ( my wife and I ) like this “ ever “ Michelle is not only the perfect house but I consider her an Ambassador for her area — I feel so happy as a Cape Bretoner that our visitors from all over the world will be fortunate to meet Michelle and her husband - the accommodations are great and you will soon get to know that Michelle has her finger on what her guests would like and feel welcomed and at home — Michelle exemplifies “ strangers on our soil are friends we have yet to meet “ the best for sure ✌🏾

A very heart felt warm welcome & a very comfy stay with lots of special extras incl microwave cutlery plates & drinks. The location is 5 minutes drive from the main road & very easy to find, the room was spotless & very nicely presented We were given lots of local info & we would recommend staying here It’s an ideal stop for starting or ending the Cabot trail Thank you

We had the most wonderful 2 nights stay at Cheticamp Inn. Michelle is a very friendly and caring hostess. She directed us to the hiking trails nearby and also location to view the beautiful sunset, recommended the nearby restaurants etc. in addition to having some great conversations. We occupied 2 rooms with very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean with all amenities and attention to detail. Supplies included disposable cutlery, crockery, Keurig etc. which were very useful. Our lobster supper on the deck was the best and Michelle and Barry supplied us with garbage bags etc. The Inn is conveniently located in a quiet area close to the town, restaurants, grocery and hiking trails. It is a great place to stay and drive the Cabot Trail and the surrounding trails. We highly recommend the Cheticamp Inn and hope to be back.

Wonderful accommodations! Michelle is a gracious and friendly host. The rooms are comfortable and have everything we needed and more. Michelle's attention to detail and focus on her guest is exceptional. Thanks for a wonderful stay! Looking forward to returning.

Michelle is a lovely friendly hostess, full of great recommendations. We stayed in #3 — delightfully cozy. The bed is so comfortable . The room had every amenities — coffee maker , cream in the refrigerator , paper plates and bowls and plastic utensils. Definitely a good base for Cape Breton park .

This place was amazing! It is in a renovated school house. Our suite was extremely spacious and well equipped. The only drawback is that it is on a back road so you can’t see the ocean, but you’re minutes from town.

We stayed only 1 night in September and were very happy with our accommodation. The room was spotless and had every amenity you need. The friendliest check in you will ever experience! Great wifi and TV. The inn is located away from the highway and very quiet. Definitely would recommend!
