This stay was not planned, our ferry to Orkney was canceled. We decided to stay in Inverness for a few days… and it was absolutely wonderful. The rich history of Bunchrew House alone is worth the stay. The rooms were clean, not too small, are very cozy. Our welcome was great. Staff is friendly, the view from the back of the hotel is picturesque. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property but it took an hour to get breakfast from a harried and not so pleasant waitress. Food was good but expensive and portions small. Lunch in the bar was much better and more value for money. The rest of the staff was lovely and very attentive. The room had a beautiful view and was spacious and quite lovely in an old fashioned way but not much to see on the grounds ther than the water… ugly campground up the path next door

The room was quite small and we had to sleep the whole night with open windows as the room was boiling hot and the was no chance to turn off the radiator
the restaurant was goo bu not worth £300 in 4 pax
it was a real pity as the location is really nice

We had a lovely stay at Bunchrew House Hotel with friends. The hotel staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the bar both nights, the food was delicious, the only downside was there were no proper tables to sit at, it was low coffee tables. Would definitely stay again.

Old house hotel with bags of charm and character but room was a little tired although spotlessly clean
Quality of food (dinner and breakfast) was excellent but dinner was on the expensive side so made it difficult to justify dining there on multiple nights
Location is just out of Inverness but can be in the town centre in 15mins so ideal

Had a wonderful time. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a suberb afternoon tea. Amazing cakes. Pet friendlyas well. Had a dining room set up for guests with pets. Cosy bar and lounge areas. Location great for getting into Inverness. Has be ome our new favorite get away

Beautiful House, the staff were so so good, deffinately worth staying if in Inverness, or making a small detour to stay here and enjoy a fantastic hotel restaurant and breakfast
