阿伯客房(Arbour Guest House)

清潔度不好，窗台、踢腳板有一段時間沒有清洗，地毯看起來很髒，也有一段時間沒有清洗，窗框和網窗簾發霉了，牆上的硬板牆板甚至沒有油漆，房間裡沒有毛巾無法清洗，由於我們與其他房間共用廁所，無法使用，因為其他客人在我們房間的各個樓層和走廊嘔吐，整個晚上都被困在我們的房間裡，淋浴浴室位於一樓，與其他客人共用，但在嘗試時那個房間總是有人在。 抱怨毛巾和床，因為舊的廉價金屬框架床，當你移動它時吱吱作響，搖搖欲墜，要求換房間，告訴他們已經滿了，沒有其他房間了，一點也不熱情，不惜一切代價避免入住8 號房間！

如果您是背包客，希望花幾美元獲得便宜的低預算住宿，那麼這個地方真的很棒。現在，如果你搜尋其他東西，你絕對應該遠離這家糟糕的賓館，房間有平板電腦大小，浴室有電話大小（如果你夠幸運有一個，我指的是浴室，而不是電話）和手錶的窗戶（參考5號房）。修訂是在性價比的基礎上進行的，對於為這個所謂的「住宿」支付的巨額費用，我很自豪地發現，在大約五十年後，我終於發現了整體上性價比最差的世界。如果有更糟糕的事情，一定是在另一個宇宙…

Piss poor, It's a dive and if you get locked out, your on your own cos the owner won't come and let you in had to knock a guest up out of bed to let us in because she refused, won't be back there ever most rooms didn't lock or couldn't shut doors properly it's just a mess of a place

I NEVER DO REVIEWS BUT THIS ONE IS NEEDED !!!!!!! As returning visitors to oban on a very consistent ,our usual accommodation was full so we found here for 3 nights . My partner and my self in love immediately the cleanliness was of the highest standard, the room was beautifully presented with a stunning sea view and the mattresses were the best nights sleep both mutually agreed . Any bad reviews I highly suggest you ignore as we have now found our favourite home away from home

Apparently, there was something going on in Oban that week, because rooms were scarce. I just needed a room for one night, and settled for what I could get . It turned out to be room #5, two flights up. It was very small, even though it was billed as a double room. It did have tea making facilities, my own bathroom, and an interesting window. That's about all the accolades I can give it. The bathroom was so small, every time I opened the door, it hit the toilet! It was in dire need of being painted, especially around the shower. So the bottom line is, it's just an old Victorian house that needs a LOT of TLC to bring it up to standard, and to be worth anywhere near what I paid for it!

Great location! But no reception, check-in limited to 2 hour slot late afternoon, no one on site in emergency at night. Breakfast is extra in adjoining house with hidden key to enter. No en-suites. Poor oversight led to running tap causing ceiling in my room to cave in on top of my bed - fortunately during the day when I was out! Stuff moved to new room, poorly prepared and public toilet next to it had no sanitizer - despite great provision in original bathroom and breakfast room (perhaps even a bit OTT). No apology for my having possibly been badly hurt or worse, request for compensation or upgrade refused, all stuff not in new room and took nagging and threat of poor review for them to find it. Alas, not a good experience at all despite location and price.

Difficult to review. The photographs don't do it justice. It looks quite acceptable in the pictures but in reality it is very tired and tatty. In our room one bedside table was a piece of wood balanced on several bricks. A cupboard contained some old tiles and a broken door lock. One bedside lamp couldn't be plugged in because the socket was on the other side of the bed which was hard against the wall. Surfaces were quite worn. It was clean although a pile of used towels lying on the shared bathroom floor wasn't pleasant. Overall it needs *****ping out with new furniture, a new carpet, and a coat of paint.

We felt unwelcome, the smile is apparently an option. 99 euros/85 pounds for a tiny bedroom at the 2nd floor. No place to move. Very warm. We couldn't breathe. Very expensive for what it is. The breakfast is not included. It was not a B&B but a B&N (Bed and Nothing). Nous ne nous sommes pas sentis les bienvenus, a priori le sourire est une option. 99 € pour une minuscule chambre au deuxième étage, pas de place pour bouger, une chaleur incroyable, nous ne pouvions pas respirer. Le petit-déjeuner n'est pas inclus. En dehors de la ville, il y a des hôtels et des chambres a priori plus intéressants au niveau prix.

Im not a fan of shared bathrooms and keys that are tricky to maneuver but i take into account the age of the building and the character of the town.
