Ξενοδοχείο στη πλατεία Ταξίμ , σε τοποθεσία που εξυπηρετεί τις μετακινήσεις στο κέντρο της πόλης και βρίσκεις πολλά μαγαζιά και εστιατόρια. Δωμάτια χωρίς καθόλου θέα και με πολύ θόρυβο από το δρόμο. Το πρωϊνό φτωχό, μόνο η θέα από την αίθουσα του πρωϊνού αξίζει.

This was most certainly the worst hotel I've stayed in till date. After reading poor reviews for many Istanbul hotels close to sultanahmet, i saw some good reviews for this and decided to book. On arrival, the front office manager on the reception desk couldn't find our reservations, this took at least 10mins for him to sort, which I wasn't too pleased with, especially as we'd been travelling for around 15hours and had got off an overnight flight with no sleep with my elderly mother with me, that, and he didn't as so much apologise. Oh well, I let it go and we made our way up to the room. The deluxe room I'd booked was *tiny*, there was just enough floor space to open one suitcase, take what you need, close it and put it away to be able to move past it. The bathroom was nice and spacious and clean too. I was about to hop into the shower when I pulled a towel off the rack.....brown poo stains were smeared over it. I was absolutely disgusted. I rang reception (the only number you can ring) and the front office manager said he'll send up housekeeping, yet again, not even a simple 'sorry'. I expressed how disgusted I was, I had only been in the hotel half an hour at this point! Housekeeping arrived shortly and replaced the towels. I had booked breakfast with our stay. The selection of food is very minimal. There were 2 waitresses who spent their time cleaning tables and stocking plates, guests were mainly ignored. Despite having paid for breakfast, you had to buy eggs and fresh juices. the only eggs available in the breakfast buffet were scrambled eggs and the juice was one I saw the waitress reconstituting from a powder and water. I've never stayed in a hotel where I've paid for breakfast and then been told I'd have to pay extra for certain items on the breakfast menu! Daylight robbery! I asked for an iron, which was sent up promptly. I rang down to enquire about the ironing board as there was nowhere to iron. The front office manager said ”Lady, you asked for an iron and you've got one now so what do you want!” I explained that i need a board to iron on, he said he'd see and call me back and angrily put the phone down. I didn't hear back for a few hours and needed clothes to go out in. So i had to use the bed as a make shift ironing board, not to mention the spits of hot water that burnt my hand in the process. Later in the day I rang for something else and also mentioned I didn't hear back about the ironing board- front office manager simply said he's been busy-no apology. He sent housekeeping to the room- a friendly lady who couldn't speak English and yet when i explained to her she understood and promptly brought me one. Be careful when ordering room service - the hotel don't actually make the food....they order takeout! I was told it would come in 20mins, I chased up 30mins later and was told 5mins, and then I chased up again and someone else who picked up laughed and said no it wouldn't be 5mins, it'll be another 20mins. Your administrators and hotel service spoil our holiday. All requests are ignored. They absolutely do not care about requests until you start going to them and complaining. Please take steps to improve the quality of your service. There will definitely be a jamb in each room, they will not be eliminated for a very long time. In the first room there was a disgusting stench from the toilet, in the other room there were non-working lamps and the view overlooked a construction site with a garbage dump. In another room, which cost twice as much, a la deluxe room, the bathroom had uneven floors, which makes a health hazard, always huge puddles on the floor, you can break your head or even worse fly out of the panoramic window. There were no slippers in the room, shower accessories for two persons, toothpaste, only 2 small bottles of water, I had to call the reception 4 times, the administrators do not care about you. The water and snacks are overpriced. The restaurant is overpriced. They brought raw, not fried chicken at all, at least the waiter apologized and offered a free dessert. Dessert was brought to the room after 2 hours, after we got tired of waiting and called ourselves. In pool you must bring your own towels from room, also you have to buy swimming cap which is overpriced of course. It was one of the worst hotels we have ever had. В первой комнате стояла отвратительная вонь из туалета, в другой комнате были нерабочие светильники и вид выходил на стройку с мусорной свалкой. В другом номере, которая стоила в два раза дороже, а-ля люкс номер, в ванной комнате были кривые полы, что создает опасность для здоровья, всегда огромные лужи на полу, можно голову разбить или ещё хуже вылететь с панорамного окна. Не было в номере тапочек, душевых принадлженостей на двоих, зубной пасты, всего 2 маленькие бутылки с водой, пришлось 4 раза звонить в ресемшен, администраторам нет дела до вас. В ресторане цены завышенные. Принесли сырую, вообще не прожаренную курицу, ладно хоть официант извинился и предложил бесплатный десерт. Десерт принесли в номер через 2 часа, после того как мы устали ждать и позвонили сами. В бассейн вы должны сами принести свое полотенце и ещё обязаны будете купить шапочку для купания, по завышенной цене разумеется.

The surrounding area is a food lover’s paradise, with an array of great restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Plus, the easy access to the tram makes exploring the city a breeze.
The hotel itself is a gem. My room was not only beautifully appointed but also boasted a stunning sea view that added a special touch to our family stay. Waking up to the serene vista of the sea was truly a highlight. The hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere made our stay with toddlers smooth and enjoyable.
However, what really sets Mula Hotel apart is its exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was not just professional but genuinely warm and welcoming. Their constant smiles and readiness to assist at any hour truly made me feel valued and taken care of. From getting a bottle of water in the middle of the night to personal touches like waiters remembering my omelette preferences after just one day - every detail was noticed and appreciated.
I must give special mentions to Ercan at the restaurant and Ilknur at the front desk. Their outstanding service and personal attention significantly enhanced my stay. Their professionalism and kindness reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.
Coming from someone who travels significantly and has stayed in several fantastic properties across the world, I can confidently say that Mula is right up at the top, and a rarity among hotels.

Ggh00Overall, it was pretty good. The facilities were plain and clean, but it wasn't bad. The parking lot was spacious and good. However, the building was under construction, so it was noisy and public transportation was very inconvenient.
