We were recommended to stay, by friends, and we were not disappointed. Very clean, tidy, cosy unit for an overnight stay on our way to Christchurch. Friendly hosts, Shirley and Morgan, and our unit 12, Studio unit had everything we needed. Quiet from highway noise. You do hear the 2 trains but we love hearing them. Loved the fact that we could go out the gate at the end of the property and walk onto the beautiful, pounding surf beach. Sunrise the next morning, with snow on the mountains, was stunning. We will be back.

住在一個套房，體積小，但是現代。非常安靜的假日公園。公園設施非常好。唯一的缺點是套房前面的礫石小路很難去拖很重的行李箱(用輪子）沿着走。礫石鋪起來，行李箱沒地方走了。最後把行李箱搬進搬出。假日公園很容易走到鎮上，超級市場就在這條路上。員工推薦Coopers Catch Fish & Chip，說有最棒的炸魚和薯條，他們是對的。

I stayed at Dusky for work throughout the winter of 2021 up until the recent spring. Russell the manager was absolutely incredible.Proper legend. He went out of his way to help me, no request was ever too much and always made sure my time staying was to the utmost standard. All with a smile on his face. I work remotely and sometimes this spans time-zones, giving me strange hours. Russell was always so courteous to this fact and always made sure everything was ok with my work/life/staying schedule. The team he's put together are great; always friendly, happy to help and just to talk to in passing. All this with the uncertainty amid a pandemic. I cannot thank Russell enough. Kitchen is spacious, very clean and always had a great atmosphere with the other guests passing through, so all of the above with absolutely great value, there is no shadow of a doubt that I will be returning to stay; business or leisure.

Due to my 93 year old father being ill I had to cancel the booking. Warren said if they sold the room they would deduct 10 - 15% of the room fee out of my visa account. When I rang him the next day to see if the room had been booked, he said yes it had been booked but now he would be charging more than 15% , it would be more like 30%. After that he has deducted the full amount from my visa and to date 1 month later no money has been refunded. We have sent correspondence to him and no reply. To my mind Warren has sold the room twice and he had no empathy about my sick father . I do not recommend this establishment.
