Απαράδεκτος!!! Όταν του είπα ότι είμαι δικαιούχος του Τουρισμός για όλους, μου είπε "όχι, όχι δεν δεχόμαστε". Και τα χρήματα θα τα έπαιρνε επί τόπου από την προπληρωμένη κάρτα. Για αυτό αυτή η χώρα δε θα πάει μπροστά με τέτοιους ανθρώπους.

Luogo ideale per la visita alle Meteore, conduzione della Guesthouse familiare. Vengono date dal figlio della proprietaria tutte le informazioni relative alla visite dei Monasteri e viene fornita anche una cartina esplicativa. Camere ampie con tv, aria condizionata e frigo. Wifi e parcheggio esterno alla struttura. Il letto era un pò scomodo e la doccia con tenda. Gentilissimi, la mattina ci hanno offerto una bottiglietta d'acqua e del pane molto buono fatto dalla madre. Colazione abbondante con dolce e salato in quantità. Siamo rimasti anche a cena una volta a base di carne alla brace e insalata greca a prezzo ottimo. Consigliato.

Bij het guesthouse heb je als camper de mogelijkheid om gratis te overnachten op het terrein. Een drankje of een hapje eten in het restaurant wordt gewaardeerd. Ook kun je tegen betaling gebruik maken van stroom (5,-) en een super warme douche (6,-). De gastheer is super vriendelijk en er is veel mogelijk. De omgeving is super mooi en er is veel te toen. Het eten in het restaurant is super lekker (bereid op een houtgrill buiten) en er zijn ook vegetarische opties. De kamers zijn eenvoudig maar schoon.

Dimora rurale a gestione familiare situata, in un posto tranquillo e di campagna, a circa 2 kilometri dalle meteore. Edificio un pó datato ma camere molto confortevoli. Proprietari cordiali e simpatici. Colazione abbondante e di qualità. Consigliatissimo 😀

This is our second time at Arsenis Guesthouse as we love the view of pristine hills and olive groves that the rooms offer. The location is also perfect as it is just off the East Road that leads up to the monasteries which makes the place both perfectly well-connected and quiet at the same time. For information, this is right on the other side from where the majority of the hostels/hotels are located which is a huge plus for me as it keeps me away from the noise and that touristy feel.. The rooms, though plain, are very clean and towels are changed daily. Each room has its own ample balcony with a table and two chairs. There is a good wi-fi connection that is freely available. I could take a small bottle of mineral water from the fridge each day at no charge. They offer continental breakfast (EUR 7) and dinner (EUR 12). The dinner, from what I understood, consists of barbecue meat with fries and a Greek salad cooked on the spot by the hosts. There are plenty of tables both indoors and outside on the large verandah with a magnificent view of the hills and olive groves. The air there feels crystal clean. The hosts are members of the Arsenis family: two sons (Kostas and Panos), mother (Vasiliki) and father. Kostas is basically in charge and his Mum helps with the cooking. Kostas is quite a character as has been testified by some of the reviewers. You can see that he loves the place that they have created and wishes that many people from all over the world come and stay with them. He can come across as clumsy in his manners but I had no problem with it as I even found his idiosyncrasies quite amusing. After you take a room he always asks if you are also having your dinner with them. We chose not to and instead went to town to our favourite restaurant/tavern, Archontariki (13 Trikalon Riga Fereou Square, Kalambaka). There is also a lovely orchard on the property with cherry, fig, crimson and quince trees. Kostas gave me a jar of quince jam as a gift before we left. Nice!

The staff was very warm and welcoming, especially Costas, who welcomed us, arriving after dark, without a reservation. We arrived to a warm fire in the fireplace; and Costas' mother prepared a dinner for us in less than half an hour after we arrived. The location was great for seeing Meteora - which is a spectacular site, with magnificent views that go beyond description. This was a main highlight of our trip to Greece.

The Arsenis Guesthouse was very welcoming after a long day of driving from Athens. The location was excellent with amazing views of the mountains, and olive grove. Kostas, wanted to unsure our stay was perfect. A home cooked meal was prepared by his mother, which was in fact a wonderful family comfort food. Everything was clean, and very relaxing. Kostas's family invited us to sit by the fireplace after our meal, which insured us we were not being rushed. With the amazing location, cleanliness, and comfort I was so pleased visiting the Arsenis Guesthouse. Traveling from the USA and given such hospitality was amazing. We hope to visit again in the future!

Vraiment tel bel endroit, le propriétaire est très accueillant et a pris la peine de nous expliquer comment se rendre aux monastères de Meteora. Je recommande vivement!

Wunderschöne Lage am Hang, einfache Zimmer, günstig, Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis okay. Das Grillangebot für den Abend haben wir nicht angenommen, auch wenn der Alt-Chef etwas hartnäckig war, der junge Wirt ist sehr nett. Zum Abschied gab's Marmeladegläser ...

We have chosen Arsenis Guest House for two nights for its location far away from congested Kastraki; one of us had to to internet work. The choice proved good, the rooms are not overdecorated, the mattresses comfortable. The balcony towards quiet olive groves supported the focus on the work. Lots of parking space. By car, destinations Meteora, Kalabaka and Vlachava are easily reached. For what we wanted, the value for money (without having booked breakfast) was excellent. The guest house is family run, which makes it very Greek...

Guesthouse Arsenis was amazing! I visited during the "off season", but the weather was still beautiful. The location could not have been better. It was a two minute drive into town and amazingly close to the monasteries. The view from my room and the dining area was gorgeous. Checking in was super simple and I had a chance to talk to the owner and his mother (who were both very, very kind!). The house and land have been in their family for generations and they have clearly taken very good care of it! The whole experience was very peaceful. I wish I could have stayed longer and would love to go back!

The rooms were clean and functional, but the beds were too hard for us. The breakfast was also very nice. The hotel has its own large car park so it is very easy to find a space, and the surrounding area is gorgeous including the olive groves proudly run by the hotel. The owner really tries to provide a welcoming environment but can be over-friendly and could make you feel uncomfortable, especially as a female traveller, though we (mother and adult daughter) felt he was harmless and just trying to ensure a good stay/review. He gave us free bottles of water and Meteora fridge magnets each.

Charming family run hotel. Awesome views of the countryside. Ample parking.
