桑德曼簽名坎盧普斯酒店(Sandman Signature Kamloops Hotel)

It was a bit brutal. 1/2 the hotel was literally along a the busiest train line in western Canada. The alarm at the train stops kept going off and forever. The building is relatively new & nice but we paid 230$ which was way more than any other hotel in town… when we discovered how bad the train noise was they said there was white noise units in the room, which was like having a super loud humidifier in the room and didn’t cut out the train noise that much. The tv remote barely worked… the hot tub jets didn’t work and even the clock at the pool wasn’t working… overall the hotel looked the part but I have stayed in dumps and got a better sleep. Staff were very very nice to be clear. We asked for room to be switched to the opposite side but they said they were all taken.

We stayed at this property 1 year ago and enjoyed it immensely, we had a king suite with a park view and a balcony, as well, we were given vouchers for one of the 2 restaurants on site. Our visit this time was horrible, I inadvertently booked the “city” view, there was absolutely no view of the city, only the train tracks. We still has a king suite, but no balcony. There’s 2 tvs in the suite, but only 1 remote, and it only worked to change channels, it wouldn’t turn the tv off, I had to search for the buttons on the back of the tv to find the power button. We were not offered any restaurant vouchers this visit either, and worst of all, the trains go by approximately every 3 hours. Considering how much the Sandman charges for these “city view” suites, we won’t return. Our next visit to kamloops , which we like to do a couple times a year, will definitely be booked elsewhere.

Do not stay if you want to get any sleep. Train yard behind Hotel was active throughout the night. Multiple times throughout both nights of our stay someone pounded on our door. Sounded like like a heard of Buffalo's were running above us. It was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. That being said the hotel itself was clean and well kept.

Comfortable, quiet and clean rooms. Staff were excellent. Great dining options and coffee served 24 hours a day. Highly recommended!

This hotel is good but the rooms in the back facing the trains are horrible. This should not be allowed I did not sled all night long due to massive train traffic. Would like a full or substantial refund. Thanks

Stayed for one night as I passed through town. Staff was friendly and facilities were clean. A bonus that two restaurants were attached to this hotel.
