奧路斯霍塔小屋酒店(Oruthota Chalets)

Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist sensationell, der Garten gepflegt, der Pool wunderbar. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer im Standard-Bereich lässt etwas Liebe vermissen. Das Personal ist bemüht. Hier ist es uns besonders aufgefallen: mit einheimischer Gerichten auf der Menükarte würde man sicher qualitativ gewinnen.

"I went there with my staff on our annual staff trip. It's a great place to have a staff outing as they have ample space for activities. The pool was great, the food was good, and the staff and service were excellent (although sometimes à la carte food orders were delayed). Located on the edge of the Victoria Reservoir along a short track from the main road is this sensational hotel. A wonderfully spacious, clean and comfortable room with a beautiful outlook onto the “lake”. Peaceful with only the sounds of nature interjecting. The staff were all super attentive and obliging with Samantha particularly so. No request was a problem. Sensational food, both Sri Lankan and European style if you prefer. There was a clean swimming pool. They organised us a few local trips with local tour guide Kevin. Nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant!

The possibilities with this place are manyfold, but the management should make a decision. Quality or masses. Busloads full of tourist and a Karaoke party going on (our exdperience) or serenity and quality that the place could have. An ayuvedic spa (a certified therapist works there), meditation, yoga, mindfulness etc. The place is made for it with the absolutely beautiful flower garden and the bio vegetable garden. The rooms need a check-up and maintenance, Parasols and good beds for the pool and you will have one of the best places in Sri Lanka. I found the best for meditation ever, but another bus load of tourist spoiled the 'fun'.

Great hotel. Really good service. Great village tour by Sarath. Very welcoming. Amazing food demonstration - very very tasty. Would definitely recommend. The natural beauty is outstanding. Went the extra mile with service.

Thank you Serat for the amazing village walk. We loved to see traditional SriLankan life. I also want to thank all employees of the hotel. I highly recommend to spend at least one night here. Support the region, enjoy the lake view and relax at the pool.

Great place to host events. The view from the restaurant and pool side is amazing. Good food and staffs are very welcoming and helpful. Location is a little bit far from the city center. But the hotel provides city tours. Very warm stay at the place.

This is one if the best places to relax near the Hulugaga river in Sri Lanka. Quality rooms and more space available for families. Very friendly staff and great hospitality. Value for the money and highly recommended this place for a great stay in Kandy area.
