巧比河濱旅館(Chobe River Lodge)

Für zwei Nächte waren wir auf unserer Safari-Tour durch das südliche Afrika in dieser Lodge direkt am Chobe River. Hier haben wir das größte Kroko der Reise gesehen, dazu jede Menge Elefanten, Giraffen - und im malerischen Nationalpark unsere ersten Löwen! Die Zimmer in einem zweistöckigen Gebäude waren geräumig, sauber und echt sehr schön. Am (recht teueren) Buffet gab es leckeres Fleisch vom heißen Stein (sagt man) und für die Vegetarierinnen und Vegetarier reichhaltigen Salat. Das warme Vegi-Angebot hingegen war nicht wirklich toll. Frühstück bestens! WLAN okay.

Un hotel pequeño y precioso , una atención perfecta , las chicas siempre están sonriendo . En el jardín hay cerditos salvajes todo el tiempo jugando . Los tours en bote son muy buenos . Un lugar súper recomendado , de ahí pueden hacer tour de un día a las cataratas victoria .

Kleine, feine Lodge an der President Ave gelegen. Wir hatten einen Riverview Room. Tolles Frühstück, sehr gutes Dinner. Klasse Möglichkeiten für Bootsfahrt auf dem chobe und Safari in den NP. Der bis an den River reichende Garten bietet Abends Elefanten und Hippos Fress- Asyl.

We had an excellent and highly enjoyable experience. The staff were attentive, kind and knowledgeable. We did two activities organized by the lodge: a sunset river cruise and then on the next day, a full day safari. Both were fantastic - the guides were excellent, the scenery was beautiful and the wildlife viewing was great. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the prepared meals were convivial and delicious. One of our party is celiac, and the staff was attentive and able to accommodate his needs- no issues with gluten exposure. The views along the rivers edge contributed to the lovely experience . All in all a relaxing lovely experience.

Chobe River Lodge has direct access to the river. From the terrace you have a beautiful view over the garden to the river. The warthogs tell you "although you are in a civilized environment here, it is still wilderness". The rooms are nicely furnished and offer a lot of space. All openings in the rooms are secured with fly screens, so there is no need for a mosquito net over the bed. We found this to be very pleasant. It would be very nice if all rooms had a safe, but that can certainly be arranged :-) The service is very good, you always have the impression that everything is very well organized. The food is very tasty and plentiful. A great and interesting pool with nice loungers invites you to cool off. The tour offer of "Wild Horizons" was fabulous with our guides BK (aka Botswana King :-)) and Tefo. Were we already flashed by the boat tour with BK, we have to say that Tefo was the best tour guide of our 3-week tour. The man is the hammer! Three game drives through the park with him and none was like the other. His expertise and commi**ent were great!

Such a wonderful place with beautiful interior and a super service. Breakfast and diner are first class. The luxury of talking a short walk down the garden and getting on the boat for the trip across the river is unique. River cruises with an excellent guide and adapted to our needs. If you like a lodge with limited room number, super service , next to the river and a wonderful environment : do not hesitate .

The place has a cool boutique feel and from the first minute you feel at home and looked after, everything is under control. We had a full board and safari programme which was perfectly managed everything worked like clockwork and the care and attention of everyone was as good as it could be. Go!

Situated on the banks of the Chobe River in Northern Botswana, the lodge offers many activities, including river boat cruises, game drivers and flights over the river. Ideally located for a day trip to the Victoria Water Falls. The boat pilots are knowledgeable about the best animal and bird siting's points. The curio selling points are a safe short walk from the Lodge. The rooms are well presented with, some having a view of the Chobe River from the balcony. Warthogs were seen grazing from our balcony, and the sounds of hippopotamus calls were heard at night. There are specially adopted rooms for disabled guest. The buffet dinners and breakfast are fit for royalty, with at least one warm venison served in the evenings. The sun set view from the bar does justice to the saying to have sundowners. The Botswana people friendliness is embedded in the staff of the Lodge.

Stayed for 4 nights. What a buzz.,beautiful decor, stylish. Beautiful. A dream of a place . Stunning.modern decor. Comfortable.not to be missed. A great,place. After a day of game drives exceedingly comfortable, beautiful y stylish . Food excellent., staff superb.food . Plenty of it
