So how I would like to begin this review is with immense gratitude and appreciation for both owner as well as his team at Deyzor who tirelessly move around all day making sure the comfort of their guests.... As soon as we dropped an email for our booking at Deyzor we were responded with a brochure of what all to do, see and other necessary details.... Very informative! And then us being us we had to change our reservation at Deyzor from 2-3 days which the owner (Karanbir) sweetly accommodated. He was also supportive in informing us that since it's raining we better start early around 5 from Manali... as the route is fine but it may get unpredictable... So we started early on... Had to make a lot of stops on the way all thanks to nature in all its glory... ( Right from nature's call to, nature's landslides and the desire to stop and soak in the nature's beauty) We were supposed to reach at 4 pm but we reached at 09:45 pm. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by Karanbir and his team ( ohh that first sip of our welcome drink apple kahwa was heavenly) we were exhausted and very late by the standards of any hotel operating in mountains as the kitchen would close soon but we were swiftly taken to our lovely room with hot water and we took shower and post that we had our lovely meal. Moving around Deyzor... You don't see or even feel that you are at a hotel property.... It feels like you have entered a place of calm... Each wall, each artefact holds a lovely story in itself. I can be there for days and would still find something I would be happy to see .. what amazed us was how the owner was handling so many guest queries ( mostly repeat) with patience and he had so much information. His "Vocal for Local initiative" Strictly Spiti, is absolutely fabulous and we made sure we brought sweet memories of Kaza/Spiti back with us.... At Deyzor we truly felt at home... The food was AMAZING and ensuring such quality at that altitude does portray the effort, owners putting in (they would literally be there from morning to night personally attending their guests, furry friends and locals) to make sure we have a pleasant stay .. they would not hesitate to help and ensure that everything we ask for is arranged and if not, polite and rational service denial (why they don't have coke, pepsi etc to discourage plastic) we often forget that we visit such places as guests and should follow decorum to make sure that we enjoy all aspects and not be nasty and demanding causing trouble of any sorts .. We had a special see off in the early morning hours by our furry friends... (They also have stories, they are rescues) We had a very comfortable stay thanks to Karanbir, Kim (KK) and team Deyzor. We look forward to coming back soon... Thank you! ( I know it's a long review but that's not even close to how much we loved our stay and impressed by Deyzor)... I can just go on n on n on....

We all loved this hotel. We spent a lot of time reading the walls and looking at and enjoying the art. The rooms were charming and comfortable. Loved the actual coffee in the rooms. Also, the restaurant was great! Loved the sabu dhana- all four in our family. The varied menu was a awesome change from the usual road food. Many thanks to the great staff. Also, thanks for the bird guide! 😊

Stayed here with family in June 2024. Let me start by saying that we stayed 3 nights and wished for longer. The hotel has a certain vibe and one feels comfortable and secure on walking in…a certain kind of peace envelops you…and it is extremely comforting. The lobby is a bit manic with the popular restaurant occupying most of the space, but the decor is different and inviting. The rooms are large (doesn’t show the same in photos on the website or reviews but they are big), and very comfortable. The bed is large if a bit stiff, and the pillows could be better, but you will sleep great any way. If there is one thing I could crib about, it would be the water geyser in the room and how long it took to heat bath water. There is WiFi and TV, but I barely used either…even though they both work well. The restaurant is a joy to eat at, and we spent a good amount of time here. Everything is brilliantly executed, which is surprising given the huge menu. The staff are friendly and efficient…and will take great care of your team. As I told the owner/founder on checking out…it was a pleasure to stay here. I really wish I had some more time to speak with him.

We stayed here for the second year in succession. The last stay (with friends) was fabulous - and so was the stay with family this year. The rooms are cosy and the staff (Rakesh, Akhilesh etc.) are fabulous. The food served at the hotel is great and the menu (Indian, Continental etc. ) has a lot of variety... Overall, the place was one of the highlights of our Spiti trip....it is that good. The owner Karanbir is almost always on the premises and attending to guests.

The property is well located , very close to petrol pump. You can walk to the market. Rooms are clean and homely . The staff is prompt and responsive. Their menu is good with many interesting dishes. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend this place.

Hotel Deyzor is a boutique hotel in Kaza.. We had a very comfortable Stay, Food was OUT OF THE WORLD... Worth mentioning the various international cuisines on the Menu. Kids and pet friendly place with friendly staff ... Absolutely fantastic...

It was a lovely stay at Deyzor! It's a warm, welcoming, cozy hotel and you would feel like at home. The rooms are lovely, the decor is great and the services are fantastic. A special mention for Rakesh, he was a great host and served us with great warmth. The food deserves special mention, it was outstanding! The owner, Mr Karanbir is always there to guide about best places to explore and pays personal attention to all his guests. The location is very convenient and you have space to park your vehicle too! Totally recommended when in Kaza!

Positives/stand-outs: -Amazing service by Rakesh -Great interiors both in room and lobby - feels warm - room had all the amenities that there can be including bed heating -Food was wonderful given the remoteness of the place. Each meal we had was tasty Some things I would have liked differently: - website should clearly highlight views from superior and deluxue rooms. When we reached we realized deluxe has valley views and not superior. We dint know this till we reached and hence were ok with superior room booking. Website only says size difference between the two. - on check-in owner was more interested in giving spiel about electricity shortage in Kaza. We were dead tired and hungry when we checked in and would have preferred a warm welcome. Of course not every one is irresponsible tourist and understand all these things -but there is time and place for everything.

We, 6 elderly people from West Bengal, stayed in Hotel Deyzor, Kaza, on April 26 & 27, 2024. We checked out after our breakfast on April 28. We liked the warm hospitality and the cozy ambience Mr. Karanbir Singh Bedi and his team created there. On our arrival at the hotel from Tabo, in the afternoon of the 26th, Mr. Singh personally welcomed us. Our rooms were ready - with exquisite interior decoration, beautiful quotations from the noted authors painted on the walls, and a welcome drink. The hygienically maintained rooms, the closets, and the restaurant serving superb delicacies and feasts for the eyes, coupled with the nice manners of the staff, added flavour to our stay there. We were overwhelmed.
