基圖爾加拉雨林精品摩克沙(Moksha at Kitulgala - Rainforest Boutique Hotel)

Das Moksha@Kitulgala war unsere erste Unterkunft direkt nach unserer Ankunft aus Deutschland. Unser Aufenthalt war traumhaft! Das Hotel ist wunderschön im Dschungel gelegen und es gibt einen traumhaften Naturpool sowie die Möglichkeit im Fluss zu baden. Auf Grund der aktuellen Krise in Sri Lanka waren wir die einzigen Gäste und wir fühlten uns wie im Honeymoon. Das gesamte Personal war so herzlich und hat uns jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Hermantha, der Eigentümer, hat uns bei der Planung unserer weiteren Reise beraten und sich um einen Fahrer und die Organisation von Zugtickets gekümmert. Champika ist immer auf unsere Essenswünsche eingegangen und hat sogar europäische Kuchen für uns gebacken. Das Highlight unseres Aufenthalts war ein Candlelight-Dinner inmitten des Dschungels mit Lagerfeuer. Wir können jedem empfehlen einige Nächte im Moksha@Kitulgala zu verbringen - für uns war es die schönste Unterkunft in ganz Sri Lanka.

I am writing to bring to your attention some concerns I experienced during my recent stay at MOKSHA Eco Retreat in Kitulgala. While I appreciate the serene environment and the eco-friendly ethos of your retreat, my stay was marred by a consistent issue with excessive talking and disruptive behavior exhibited by the owner. The constant chatter not only disturbed the tranquility I had anticipated but also impacted the overall quality of my stay. As a guest who values the peaceful ambiance that eco retreats aim to provide, I believe it is crucial to address this matter promptly. Excessive talking and disruptive behavior from the owner undermine the very essence of the retreat and can negatively impact the overall guest experience.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à l’hôtel Moksha. Nous avons été très bien reçu. En amont de notre arrivée, nous avons été contacté afin de connaître nos préférences pour la nourriture, des allergies et si nous souhaitons planifier des activités pour visiter la jungle et les cascades. L’hôtel est magnifique et récent. Les chambres sont d’une propreté irréprochable, équipées et décorée de façon moderne. La piscine est très agréable et il y a en plus une « piscine naturelle » en extérieure dans la rivière. Vous pourrez profiter d’un luxurieux jardin arborée et de ses équipements. Les plats sont préparés sur place par un chef, c’est absolument délicieux. Le choix à la carte est limité car les produits sont frais et du jour. Les cocktails sont excellents et le café provient de leur propre plantation. De plus, les prolétaires sont très soucieux de l’environnement. Nous avons eu la chance de visiter la jungle et les ascades accompagnés du propriétaire de l’hôtel car il s’agit d’un hôtel « familial ». Tout le staff est aux petits soin et d’une gentillesse incroyable. Nous vous recommandons ++++ de séjourner au Moksha.

Hôtel haut de gamme dans la région. Avons passé un bon moment. La rivière passe à quelques mètre de l’hôtel et il donc possible de se baigner, seuls au monde, dans des trous d’eau. Personnel accueillant et souriant, mention spéciale pour le dîner! N’avons pas été subjugué par la région (rafting surfait et trop cher selon nous). Mais si vous décidez de vous rendre dans la région, cet hôtel est un très bon point de chute

Séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel récent. Au milieu de la jungle, au bord d'une rivière (on peut y accéder de l'hôtel pour s'y baigner)... Un personnel adorable, souriant et toujours disponible. Ils nous ont réservé notre train pour notre prochain trajet sans problème et préparé des sandwichs à emporter. Le chef du restaurant vient vous voir avant chaque repas pour vous expiquer le repas du soir et peut adapter son menu si certains aliments posent problème. C'était excellent. Je recommande !

Magnifique hotel dans la forêt tropicale, personnel adorable aux petits soins et cuisine savoureuse à partir de produits frais et locaux (certains cultivés dans le jardin de l'hotel !) Beaucoup d'activités dans le coin, nous avons fait du rafting : un moment très agréable, portés par les courants au milieu de la forêt. Merci à toute l'équipe !

Nous avons passé 4 jours de rêve. Très joli hôtel et le personnel super gentil et toujours prêt pour nous faire sentir comme des rois. Notre cuisinier Pradeep Pereira est un magicien. Je recommande vivement

The hotel is built in a rainforest environment, and this was the highlight of Moksha as the nature around us was very beautiful. There is a beautiful stream with a natural pool next to the hotel, surrounded by trees. What let it down for us was that we didn't enjoy the food and we thought the service was inconsistent. The menu was limited for a hotel that charged a premium price, we felt a bit rushed into ordering our meals and we ultimately didn't feel like we got value for money because of the high taxes charged on top of the meals that were already in the high range. The service staff although they were really nice and friendly, seemed a bit direction-less at times. Overall while the hotel has a lot of promise due to it's unique setting, it might be worth going direct to Kandy as part of the Sri Lanka tour.

Our experience has been one of the most enjoyable and hospitable from the time we placed our booking. The Management and staff were super professional and made our stay an unforgettable one. The scenic beauty of this property is mind boggling. The food and the service were excellent. Most importantly, the staff has been best we have seen, always serving with a smile and going out of their way to make us feel at home! If you are looking for peace and tranquility and enjoy being with nature along with a fantastic team to cater to your needs, Moksha@Kitulgala is the place to be,
