卡倫海灣酒店(Cullen Bay Hotel)

Went to the Cullen Bay Hotel for a Birthday meal and were not dissapointed. Starters l had the Cullen Skink ( excellent) my wife had the Haggis Bon Bons ( Excellent again) the only down side was 3 thin slices of chesse/garlic bread cost £4.00 !!! The mains my wife had the Haddock, Smoked Haddock, Salmon and Prawn fish (10/10) l went with the Burger etc again very good. For afters we had apple crumble with ice cream and my wife had the custard with it . Staff were excellent. Would we recommend The Cullen Bay Hotel- Yes

Very accommodating for an elderly birthday. Food was great very hot and served just at the right timings. Staff were attentive and checking everything was ok. The only thing I’d say it is better to address the customer as Sir, madam rather than pal and sweetheart. I know everyone is different and it’s a personal thing but in a professional capacity, people should be addressed appropriately this would make the customer experience 6*. It was great food at a reasonable price. We will be back we enjoyed it so much

My partner booked this hotel for birthday. Extremely helpfull and friendly staff but rooms really need upgraded and cleaned properly. Towel had huge hole, towel rail hanging off the wall, the toilet light cord was black and disgusting. Unacceptable amounts of dust everywhere, black mould or what looked like mould on the roof in bedroom. TV too small for the room. They really need to invest and spend a bit of money. Comfortable bed but not ideal for a 6’2 male, felt like the smallest double bed ever.

Natürlich ist das Cullen Bay Hotel kein Spitzenhotel, aber es macht doch sehr vieles richtig und durch Engagement wett. Ein total nettes und aufmerksames Personal machen einem den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich. Ich habe mich ausgesprochen wohl gefühlt.

we went as a family of 9 (3 small kids) for a festive meal the staff were excellent and so accomadating nothing was a problem, our meal was delicious and we wont hesitate to recommend the cullen bay hotel to everyone

Struttura imponente sulla A98 alle porte di Cullen; un po' datata, sia negli spazi comuni che nelle camere, però ha un fascino vintage che a noi piace. La vista sulla baia è splendida; abbiamo scelto una camera vista mare (la n.10) proprio per poterla ammirare. La stanza è abbastanza spaziosa per due persone, con poltrona strategica sotto la finestra, angolo scrivania, armadio e un bel letto matrimoniale. Il bagno, seppur datato, è pulito e ampio, con vasca-doccia. La colazione, inclusa nella tariffa, è ottima: selezione di piatti caldi (abbiamo scelto la Full Scottish Breakfast) e buffet con bevande, cereali e marmellate. Abbiamo usufruito anche del ristorante: due cene all'insegna del seafood, tutto delizioso, con l'immancabile Cullen Skink, godendoci il tramonto dalle ampie vetrate. Consigliatissimo!

Food overpriced, tiny portions, dull and below average. Paid just under £17 for a dry tiny burger with one peice of lettuce on it, with no side salad. 3 of our meals were cold tempreture. The waitress was lovely though hence two star review.

Slitent hotell med god service. Vi bestilte hamburger til middag, dårligste hamburgeren vi har smakt på lenge. Eneste store plusset ved hotellet er utsikten.

Good points were the food the view and friendly staff, but beds were very soft and springs protruding through mattress, lumpy pillows , and dust all over skirtings ,the en suite was smallest I’ve ever came across in a hotel not good value for condition of a dated hotel
