機場塔樓小屋(Airport Tower Lodge)

Beautiful place! The design and style are very unique with an old Pueblo style, and the location is great. However, it is still being renovated, and the swimming pool was not open in the summer. There should be improvement in stating that the shuttle service comes with an extra cost; it should be advertised as an option, as most stays offer shuttle services at an additional expense. The price was 200Rand, and an Uber is cheaper. The receptionist was very helpful and clear; she was super nice.

The host was patronizing and sarcastic toward me and was trying too hard to appear to be a nice person. She also hurried me to fill up the check-in form and pressured me to indicate right there in the form if I would need meals as they are pre-ordered. I needed time to think about this well without being rushed. She was suddenly super nice when other guests arrived, even the next day when taking us to the airport where she rushed me to leave at 7:00 am since these important guests were in a hurry to catch an international flight, and yet we had agreed to leave at 7:30am. Surprisingly I had also told her that I am going to Maseru (Lesotho) the previous day, and I reminded her in the car that I am also taking an international flight to Maseru. She looked at me annoyingly and said "but it's not the same, they are going to Madagascar". I tried reasoning that yes, we will be using the same terminal and I am taking an international flight too, and these other guests actually joined me in agreement. I felt small, and disrespected, as well as my country. and lukewarm toward me with an obvious bias, and yet she treated other guests super warmly.

Le Lodge est beau, très agréable et confortable Nous n’avions pas l’impression d’être à proximité de l’aéroport. C’est un excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous n’hésiterons pas à réserver à nouveau et à tester le petit déjeuner.

Beautiful view, Room was very pretty although they can work on the cleanliness, No shade for vehicle to park under but there's trees. Water pressure was very low. Toilet seat was loose, but other than that we had a good stay.

Nicolene is extremely helpful. She assisted with our rental car arrangements and had the car delivered at the guest house. We arrived late at night and she arranged for fresh sandwiches to be in our room when we arrived since the kitchen was already closed and dinner was not an option. We will stay here again. The staff are friendly and very helpful.

When arriving in Johannesburg don't go to one of these standard hotel chains, but enjoy family atmosphere of Africa with love to the details. Airport Tower Lodge is a small family hotel only a few minutes from the airport and provides the right vibes for your holidays independent of arriving or leaving. Don't forget to enjoy the simple but very nice breakfast.

Very friendly service, excellent quality, we are repeat clients, will stay again. Shuttle service very good and on time. the area are quiet and the people gives good service, enjoyed my stay very much. could get good nights rest before a long flight

Très bon séjour, chambre très propre et fonctionnelle pour une famille de 4 personnes. Personnel agréable et accueillant L’hôtel est bien desservi, proche de l’aéroport. Petit bémol, nous aurions apprécié un vrai restaurant…
