I ended up not getting into the gate. Its in the middle of a ******* hood. You will be navigating ******* to get there. Infact its a ******* hub. Dirty ghetto neighborhood. Lost my money . Wonder why trip gives such a place as an option

Always good to stay here when using the airport and you need a place to sleep.

Close to the airport which is highly convenient. I just wish they had more basic amenities like Tissues and bottled water at least. Comfortable bed. The only other issue was being able to get hold of the hotel from this app and also arranging a shuttle to the airport the next day. We were told we'd be given transport and then on the morning we were told they over extended their services so we had to catch an Uber instead. Staff are friendly and helpful. Would recommend as an overnight stay to catch flights.

Beautiful property, staff is friendly, polite and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and cute... I loved the bathroom, especially the dresser...pleasantly surprised with the heater and the plush blankets. Would definitely book again but probably in the warmer months for the great pool and entertainment area.

Very helpful staff. Lovely grounds and room. Breakfast was very nice. Didn't bother us but can hear planes overhead. But we wanted to be close to airport, so that's what's going to happen. Great having courtesy airport pickup especially in an unknown place. Love they have coffee and tea 24/7 in the dining area plus a pool room with lounge. 24/7

Het hotel ligt heel dicht bij het vliegveld wat na een lange vlucht echt fijn is. Hotel heeft ook een shuttle service. De kamers waren schoon, maar wel wat verouderd. Badkamers waren prima! De ontbijtruimte heeft beperkt plek waardoor wij even moesten wachten voor we konden zitten. Ontbijt was prima. Tuin ziet er mooi uit met het zwembad, maar omdat wij hier maar 1 nacht verbleven hebben we er geen gebruik van gemaakt. Het personeel is echt super vriendelijk en behulpzaam vandaar de vier bollen, anders had ik er drie gegeven.

Warm and helpful staff, clean/comfy rooms, excellent breakfast and lovely grounds. This was a pleasant way to sleep off jet lag and acclimate to Africa before heading out the next day for Victoria Falls. Uber Eats delivers and the compound seems very secure.

Booked based on reviews. I was disappointed. Grounds very pleasant to look at but overall needs a lot of maintenance even the sunbeds which look tempting are unusable due to damage. The rooms need maintenance and are run down, my bathroom also had a musty smell. OK for a 1 night stop but very inconvenient for anywhere other than airport, eg taxi into Town 600 ZAR! Also no sound proofing and very noisy with planes and people checking in and out at all hours.

Don’t be put off by the location of the hotel which isn’t in the best neighbourhood but is so convenient for the airport as only 10 minutes away. Once inside the gates, the hotel is a little oasis with well manicured and kept gardens and a swimming pool to relax next to on the loungers. The rooms are large and clean with all the facilities you need including WiFi, tv, kettle and toiletries. The best thing about this place is the staff - they are so friendly and helpful especially Corrine the manager who goes out of her way to ensure guests’ stays are perfect. Thanks to everyone at Aero Guest Lodge and hope to see you again!

We decided to stay overnight as had a long overnight flight and a long drive ahead of us. We were picked up by private car which went smoothly. Warm welcome with friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool with seating area and tables. Room and bathroom was a good size. Nice breakfast and a car to take us to pick up our car hire

An absolute gem to take a day before onward travel after a long haul flight. They will pick you up at the airport and also provide a ride to nearby restaurants and shops. This well established stopover, has comfortable rooms (great beds) and is a peaceful haven in a bustling metropolis. Be sure to relax by the pool with a few drinks from the bar, and enjoy the pretty gardens, and the birds will keep you company. In the evening, be sure to get dropped at Emporer’s Palace for a lot of dining choices, and when you are replete, Aero Lodge will pick you up and take you home to bed! So very easy!

Perfect overnight spot near the airport, nice, clean room, decent breakfast. Pickup prompt and easy as well. There is water and a bar as well, if you are overnighting at JNB, look no further than this guesthouse

My husband and I had an excellent overnight stay here on our way to Nelspruit the next morning. The shuttle was prompt, the breakfast convenient. I seem to remember only beer in the honour bar that night? However, our quarters were very suitable and put us in the mood for Kruger Park the following day! We have fond memories and photos of this lodging! AS I am meeting a friend in the RSA next week I booked us two rooms here overnight before heading out once again to Nelspruit. If my return flight had not left from Joburg at a good hour I would stay again before my flight home. We must have come in after the supper hour; I may miss again this trip, unfortunately.
