豪斯奎特斯酒店(The House Quarters)

We spent just 1 night in The Manor House. Very impressed with the welcome and the cleanliness. So nice that there is a restaurant and Spa on site. Hoping this spoil could become an annual spoil 😉

The breakfast was not part of the room. but there are enough small eateries near the guest house which offers breakfast at reasonable cost. SPAR supermarket is few meters away. appeared to be a safe neighborhood - bustling area during day time. the house was safe with auto locking system at guest house entrance. balcony had sea view which was great. kitchen and kitchenette was added plus. the house was spacious for 2A + 2 kids. comfortable beds. we stayed only one night for next day to kariega game reserve which is 20 mins drive. TV was good and dish tv had enough channels. towels and linen were clean and sufficient. we wanted a late check out which they were kind enough to accommodate. it is better to reach the place before 5pm since the keys needs to be collected from neighboring restaurant which closes at 5pm. Disliked · parking is outdoor in public area. although they mentioned there are security cameras and security guards, i would have preferred a closed door parking. wifi was little weak in some instances. a stronger wifi would be great.

We love Kenton, and have enjoyed meals at the House Kitchen before, so we were looking forward to our stay in the the House Quarters, and we weren't disappointed. We stayed in the Townhouse, which is perfect for a slightly longer stay (we were there for three nights). The kitchenette is minimalist, but adequately equipped for two people (not that we ate in much - there are too many good restaurants around!). The views from the Townhouse are amazing, as were the sunrises. Breakfasts in the House Kitchen were delicious and a highlight of each day. We will be back...

Fabulous stay at The House Quarters, with excellent view from the room and all the amenities you may need. We loved The House Kitchen were we enjoyed breakfast and their famous Health Cake for afternoon coffee/tea!

We went there for a night and were flashed by the nice Appartement and view. It was so good, that we went back for another night a few days later. The staff is super friendly, the room was super clean and the breakfast was just mindblowing. Also the location was perfect for us. It’s in the more bubbly centre of the city, but the city is so small that you can reach the beach by foot in 19 minutes.

The overall experience was fantastic. The rooms are well appointed with a small balcony that makes it very comfortable for an extended stay. The menu and quality of the meals on the breakfast was just superb. Will definitely book again.

The stylish and well appointed rooms look like a show house with trendy and upmarket finishes. But the place has no heart - the impersonal staff checks you in at the shop next door - then disappears for the night. The lack of sound proofing is a major flaw bc all sound travels through the concrete floors and walls. There was a crying baby, guests having loud sex and at 2am somebody had got locked out and proceeded to yell and bang on the front door. A pity bc this could be a really nice place to overnight in this charming seaside village.

We had a wonderful relaxing comfortable stay. Will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to spoil yourselves. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable clean and kitted out tastefully. Felt safe and special.
