It’s too far out from the main area although there’s a shuttle into town. All our clothes smelt damp after just 4 days of being there. The room felt very damp the bed especially. Pool is ok but I’m sure you’d struggle to get a sun bed in high season. The beach is nice across the street but the sunbeds are rentable from a company $$$
Nice place. Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Parking is NOT included. I'm a bit annoyed about that because I didn't find anything about that when reserving the room. I even called and left a message on the concierge line asking about parking but never got a callback.
AAKP1189This is our 3rd time staying at Westwinds and we love it. The location is quiet yet close to downtown Key West (recommend renting bikes in lieu of walking because it's very sultry in the summer heat). The tropical foliage is beautiful, 2 pretty pools, the rooms have nice appointments and nice toiletries, the beds are comfy, and the continental breakfast is very nice - especially having oranges or bananas and yogurt aside from carbs. The staff is very attentive here. On our last day, we were able to leave our bags in the lobby after we checked out and ride our bikes into town. We returned to use the pool, and refresh ourselves in the guest shower before leaving Key West.
NnicolasBeautiful place, very comfortable, we enjoyed the pool and the delicious breakfast. Very recommended!
The lady at the front desk was also very kind and helpful, thank you so much!
550028121This place is very well located (5 blocks off the main drag Duval Street), has a lovely pool and patio area, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Right across the street is a stop for the Duval Loop Shuttle that goes around the Old Town area. But... We booked Eden House for 6 nights. For $360 a night one would expect some normal room amenities like a bathroom, a closet or armoire, maybe a chest of drawers, a bedside lamp. My room was completely devoid of any of these amenities, although it did have a mini-fridge and a microwave. There was a sink in the middle of the room, a toilet in a separate little room and a shower stall; the walls were bare. It was impossible to unpack as there was no place to put anything. No bedside lamp (one was eventually found by the second day). And the foot of the bed was about 15 inches from the wall so one had to scoot sideways to get around it. In Europe this would be a 1-star hotel room costing $60/night. There was absolutely no resemblance to the pictures on the website. One of my friends rooms was similar, my other friend had a larger room with a bathroom and a rack with hangers for clothes. We all paid the same price for the rooms. And so, I would caution folks to find out exactly what their room would be like - I was in room 109 and my friend was in the similar 107. I would stay there again but not in these rooms.
PPrecious BI love your place but mostly what made my trip so special was a girl named Kia she is wonderful from showing us about the bus to when I left my wallet at the front desk she made sure it was safe when I got back . Kia treated us so wonderful and that is the reason I will always come back as long as she is still there because Kia really helps you .I am 64 years old and she really was a great person who understood that I had knee problems . I mean everything Kia did for me was up and above what other people at places I stayed an amazing experience . I will always come back to your Inn as long as she is still working there . I have never been treated like that from a worker at a hotel .Kia really cares if you are comfortable and she helped us to find our way around .I adore Kia and you are so lucky to have a great worker like Kia I don't know her last name but I noticed her first because I drove her crazy about finding this place and everything too do down there .10 stars for Kia . thank you for having wonderful people working for you . I will be back and I will check to see if Kia is still working . Thank goodness for her. And th ank you. Everything was beautiful .
