布倫特伍德酒店(Brentwood Hotel)

Our checkin was at 1pm but no one informed us that the room wasn't ready yet we had to go and wait till the room was ready! It would be great if hotels staff informed guests prior to check in that hotel is not yet ready not when we come to the reception to actually check in! Hotel room had a blockage issue in the wash basin!

The room was very old and you can hear people go up and down from your room . Restaurant menu was horrible especially Indonesian nasi goreng . I would Change the chef . My wife and I so tired the last day 7/17/2023 we were debating to eat outside or inside the hotel since they have Indonesian menu Nasi goreng Tofu with sambal and beef udon soup . We spend total $38 NZ dollars for nothing . We suggest anyone who stay in this hotel do not eat inside the restaurant . If you like Indonesian food go to Little Penang get your money worth . If you like Indian food go to Chili Peppers is very good especially Chicken Masala .

The shower in room 503 was very dirty. There was mould and fungus growing in the shower. It must have been there for weeks. When I reported it to the staff they said it must have been caused by steam which was ludicrous. Even if that was the problem it should be cleaned everyday not one in 3 months. The management frankly were uninterested, clearly they didn’t care even though I showed them photographs ( they were to disinterested in going to see it with me. My experience of my stay was poor!!

部屋は広いが昔ながらの洋風ホテル 廊下の歩く音や隣の水回りの音が聞こえます。設備は整っており、朝早いフライトでも空港までのタクシーを手配していただけて、無料でよかったです。

Two bus loads of teenage students were also staying at the hotel who were quite noisy running up and down the hallway banging on doors and talking loudly which didn’t worry us until 10pm came along and we wanted to go to bed. We called reception and they said they would sort out the issue. The noise continued until past 11pm. We even asked the kids who were in the room next door to keep the noise down as we were trying to sleep but they just ignored us. Our group had booked 6 rooms and we were spread out all through the complex. The school groups were also spread out through the complex . You would think they would put all the kids in one area so as not to disturb other guests. Rooms are very dated and not very soundproof.

Location near airport was good. Was only at the hotel for a few hours as had a very early flight the next morning. Hotel is pretty cheap, so not expecting the world. On arrival, the room temperature was waaaaay too high, estimate 25-30C. No thermostat so just had to turn off and hope would not freeze overnight. Bed was OK, though terrible pillows. No noticed noise from nearby airport, but when it rained at night the noise was very loud and woke me up. Bathroom was very dated. Only reason for staying was to get sleep before 4am wakeup. Did not get much sleep.

Great stay, reception staff w were very helpful, restaurant bar staff very efficient. Room was tidy. Only probl3were noisy guests jumping upstairs.

I had a meeting Wellington City of a evening and a early zoom meeting from the hotel the following morning before a return flight to Auckland. The pick up and transport the following day to the airport was a big plus to staying. The free internet struggled to deal with the zoom meeting but the hotel when contacted immediately provided a upgrade and i had no further problems. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a buffet and was of a good quality. (Coffee great). Room warm, bed and shower good. Would stay again
