耶路撒冷金門酒店(Jerusalem Gate Hotel)

I was here for a few days, and it's in a central location, very clean, has great food and the staff were kind and helpful.

The location of the Jerusalem Gate is the only positive thing I experienced. The hotel is dated; our room is small (all same size) with a weird third “bed” taking up valuable space and was dirty and stank of cigarette smoke - when we complained, they sent someone up with air freshener. The dining room is crowded and the the food is average.

Si bien la comida para la cena y el desayuno es "kosher", porque se encuentra en un barrio mayoritariamente ortodoxo, hay para todos los gustos y no es problema. Es un 3* superior. La habitación correcta, buena ducha, la atención en el front desk apenas lo necesario, la sonrisa no es el punto fuerte de los empleados. Tiene conexión con un pequeño mall en el subsuelo. Su ubicación es estratégica ya que está muy cerca de la terminal de tren y buses de Jerusalem y cerca de varios locales para comer como pizzerias, bares, etc. Se conecta en 20 minutos por tranvía a la ciudad antigua.

Hotel is so old it desperately needs a full renovation. The carpets are old, doors and furniture cheap, and whole hotel makes one feels like the clock stopped for them in the 80’s. Beds were so old I kept on waking up due to the pain the bed spring would cause on my sides and back. I visited with my wife and instead of sleeping in a full bed or better yet a queen bed, I got two old single mattresses side by side it made it imposible to sleep next to each other. Definitely not worth the $160 per night. The restaurant had old tables that looked like patio tables/chairs and the staff were dry and mean all the time as if they hate their job. So the lack of hospitality made it worst.

Très sympa pour l’emplacement, les chambres sont correctes, la vue est très sympa, le service est très correct, le parking gratuit est un plus, dommage qu’il dépende du centre commercial qui se trouve en dessous pour les horaires d’accès en ascenseur, la variété des petits déjeuners et dîners est très moyenne,

Recently been touring the Holy Land and stayed in this very ordinary hotel. The party were there for 4 nights while in Jerusalem. The rooms are ordinary but we’re tired and needed some TLC. The breakfast and dinner buffets were good and offered a fair variety to meet ordinary needs bu5 it did not sparkle. The internet was reasonable and did the business. In the basement was a group of shops. I used the coffee house as the hotel coffee was nothing special. The hotel was noisy as it seemed full with runners for the Marathon as well as other touring groups. Staff were mixed. Some were very helpful, others seemed to treat guests as nuisance. They should work on there welcome. Yes the hotel is ordinary in need of a make over if it wants to improve its reputation.

Llegamos al hotel a las 12 de la noche y no habia servicio de comedor, pese a estar considerado en el programa. No hacen limpieza de las habitaciones, a lo mas tienden las camas. El personal no habla español, incluso algunos no entienden inglés. El personal del comedor arrogante, como si nos hicieran un favor al atendernos.Lo peor fue que con mi esposa nos enfermamos y no permitian llevar el desayuno o cena a la habitacion por razones de “seguridad”, no entendian que mas que un asunto de seguridad les pediamos una actitud de humanidad, de preocuparse y empatizar con clientes enfermos. Al decir que queria estampar un reclamo accedieron a enviar comida a la habitacion: pickles para personas con la garganta inflamada!! En resumen, soy viajero frecuente y jamás habia estado en un hotel tan mal gerenciado

Stayed for several nights for business. The bed was like quicksand and I sunk into it so it was hard to get a good night's sleep. The shower is made in a way that you can't spray that water deep into the tub, meaning you have to stand right below the shower head - which is a bit hard if you're over 5 feet tall. The hot water was scalding and I had to find the right temperature which was always too cold. Breakfast was awful - it's obvious that most of the food just came out of the fridge, which is not good for greens, salads etc which were probably prepared 24 hours before (if we're lucky) During the day, hotel workers are yelling in the hallway so you can't work. Just a terrible experience overall.

i liked the lobby and the reception and the breakfast but I didn't like the room and the bathroom . The furniture and the style were"old", the bed was unconfortable and the staff were not pleasant, very "cold",they received us whithout a little smile on their face
