Love the Graduate because of location to UTK’s campus, but the only parking is valet and it’s pricy.

The hotel failed to clear its driveway of ice, which made it dangerous for older people like my wife and me to walk safely in the area right outside the front door. When I asked the person staffing the front desk to mention this to management, she told me that it wasn’t her job to clear the ice. I knew that. But it was her job to treat me courteously and hospitably, and she failed on that front. I won’t stay here again.

This hotel is very quaint. Everything seem to be clean. We did not experience any noise and we enjoyed the valet parking. It is walking distance to restaurants and UTK. The only things I wish were different were more pillow variety other than feather on the bed and the shower design is not my favorite because you always have to get wet just to turn it on because it only opens from one side. Would definitely stay again.

Very surprised with the price of this hotel that it didn’t have a frig or microwave. The coffee was instant. The hotel restaurants food was 3 star only.

There was a used razor in the shower still! Misha at the front desk was lovely for check in. A young man had to help us with the pack n play difficulties he was very nice as well!

The check in experience was particularly poor. We arrived at 5pm and were told our room was not available as it had not been cleaned. We were told to wait in the lobby. We ultimately got our room at 6:30pm. The person at reception was dismissive, unaccommodating and very unhelpful. It was a terrible experience.
Additionally, our room was not serviced (we stayed two nights) at all during our stay. All around it was a poor experience.

The Graduate was exactly what we need after a crazy few days in and out the rain. Warm welcome, cosy room with wonderful beds, friendly and helpful staff, comfy sofas in the lounge to curl up on. Loads of places to eat very close. Great value for money. Much better than a generic chain.
