Rooms and facilities within them are excellent - and the views over the golf course, toward Knysna Heads (and the sunsets) are very special. The food and drink at the golf club is very good and well priced. Its a terrific golf course - undulating, varied, demanding, overall a very good test of your golfing skills. Pool, gym and spa facilities all good (wife and daughter thoroughly enjoyed their massage while we played golf). Overall the four of us - myself, wife, daughter and son-in-law really enjoyed our stay - thanks to all.

Nice staff very friendly and flexible. Suites luxurious as you might expect with spectacular views. Some remarks. The sleeping room is not very dark making our baby wake up very early and the overday naps challenging. Also getting in and out by car rather cumbersome with the security checks. Breakfast okay but you pay additional for the capuccinos. For the rest marvelous place. Highly recommend it. And oh yeah the golf course magnificent. Thank you Simola for making our stay a great experience.

From the moment James picked me up from the airport in George until Julius took me back This was a fabulous week of relaxation in a beautiful location Bongi checked me in but the whole team of Charmaine,Shunita,Patrick,Henk. and the boss lady Roxanne,were amazing The bed was super comfortable.The suite was vast,with a comfortable seating area and huge terrace The spa is an oasis of calm and the heated pool was wonderful especially when the weather was not playing ball Beauty was a ray of sunshine and Demi & Jessica wonderful therapists.Roxanne even arranged cushions for the loungers in spa Breakfast was relaxed and the choices copious. The banter around the rugby was hilarious. My counselor is helping me recover from Bongi's post semi final email😀😀 I am sure I will recover by 2027! Phillip,Julius and James drove me to the restaurants at night.All are excellent drivers. Housekeeping was brilliant keeping my suite immaculate and laundry is really good value and was delivered back on time. The bar was a lovely retreat again the banter around sport was fun with lots of teasing! The golfers though were incredibly competitive,which was hilarious to someone was ultra competitive in the past.Let it go!! Is there anything that could be improved. There was perhaps a lack of people to help on the sundeck. An A la carte restaurant would have been lovely. Overall though this was an idyllic week of peace and tranquility. Went on a golf tour and stayed at a couple of places from Plettenbergbaai down to Mosselbaai. Our best stay over was at Simola Hotel. The service, food and accommodation were just fantastic! Beautiful views from our hotel room overlooking the golf course was a bonus.

Amazing stay. The accommodation, facilities, food, staff, golf course was excellent. The location is central with breathtaking views. The rooms are spacious and it's truly a home away from home. Our official new accommodation in Knysna.

The Simola Hotel offers luxurious accommodation in a beautiful setting. The suites are well appointed and the service at the hotel is first class. The space is ample with comfortable bedding for a good rest. The Simola Hotel is very highly recommended!

The best place in Knysna. The view, the space of the apartment and the service are excellent. The only thing that the there is no slippers, no bathrobe, no iron and iron board (unless you request), the quality of soap and shampoo is bad. However overall it is fantastic and worth

Wunderschön gelegen mit Aussicht auf die Knysna-Bay. Und der Golfplatz gehört für mich zu den schönsten der Welt.

Shower needed attention. Wasn't clean. I felt like taking a scrubbing brush to it. Not enough staff for the dinner. Lots of rooms so I understand that cleaning staff are busy. However leaving my room door wide open for hours after being cleaned was not good.
