Nous y avons passé 3 nuits. Le service de cet hôtel est digne des meilleurs. Chambre rangée , nettoyée le matin et préparée en fin de journée pour la nuit. Salle de bains très spacieuse et parfaitement équipée. Belle douche sur caillebotis bois, grande baignoire. Les 2 sont devant une grande baie vitrée donnant sur une petite cours aménagée. Vous ainsi en connexion avec l’extérieur tout en prenant votre douche. La literie est très confortable. Le restaurant est excellent. Le petit-déjeuner est parfait, les produits sont de qualité, le service est très attentionné. La piscine est très agréable. En plus cet hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter fort cochin

Bel hôtel à Fort Kochi, bien situé. Accueil chaleureux. Le service est attentif. Belle grande chambre et belle salle de bains. Bon restaurant pour dîner. Beau cadre, au calme. Dommage que nous n'ayions pas eu le temps de profiter de la piscine.

Pure bliss. From the minute we arrived (at 1 am) to leaving this haven of a hotel we were cared for as if we were family. All the staff go out of their way to accommodate your every need. I had read the reviews before booking and they were all positive, now I know they were also totally true. The food is amazing, perfectly cooked, presented and tasted divine. Fort Kochi is a busy place so it was always blissful to step back into the beautifully serene hotel. Thank you.

Just had lunch here. Expensive but on point. Service was professional though some staff just seemed to be standing there and not really attentive. That said the food was tasty, good but costly. The quantity given was small. The infrastructure seemed well maintained. A nice but an expensive place to stay.

I stayed here two nights with six coworkers, and the hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. We were greeted with a nice welcome drink and shown to our spacious rooms. The location is 5 minutes walking distance to the beaches and 10 minutes to the famous Chinese fishing nets. We ate dinner at their restaurant, and the food was tasty and was visually presented very nicely! Their Creme Brule French Toast was one of the best desserts I've had! The included breakfast was also excellent, with made to order eggs and a mix of local specialties. The hotel also arranged pickup and drop-off at the airport for us and even sent us off with takeaway breakfast for our very early flight.

We only checked in here for one night and we wish we stayed longer! The staff was so friendly and helpful with anything we needed and the room was so cutely decorated and comfortable. Due to some longer commutes than expected, we didn't get to enjoy the hotel as much as we wanted to.

We had an enjoyable stay in Eighth Bastion and were grateful for a warm welcome and a comfy room after a very long flight (they let us check in early, which we were very grateful for). Positives about the hotel +without exception all the staff were so friendly, courteous and seemed to really enjoy their job - they definitely made our stay + very central and a nice walk ***** the promenade past the Chinese fishing nets, with good viewpoints for sunset +bar is licensed for beer and wine, and a nice cold kingfisher after a hot day sightseeing was a plus + rooms are large and airy, bed is comfy. + excellent breakfast, especially if you are happy to have the Indian breakfast (the masala dosa was superb) Less positive things As a result of being central, there is a lot of noise from early in the morning, so maybe choose one of the garden facing rooms if you are a light sleeper - the second you leave the property, you are harangued by tuk tuk drivers, not the hotels fault, but did detract from our stay a little. - a little more information in the rooms about the various activities on offer would be good, the lady who checked us in did run through them with us, but we were so jetlagged not a lot went in, so some material to read in our own time would have been great. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend to friends visiting Kochi.

This hotel is perfectly located to either walk or take a short tuktuk ride to most major sites in Cochin. The staff that greets you is welcoming and kind and each day when we returned there was a lovely doorman that greeted us with a huge smile. He was terrific. Our room was well appointed with the needed amenities and the bed was comfortable. The rooms as a little smaller here but still enough room to move around. Our room also had a narrow balcony where we could sit and take in the activity going by the hotel. The street noise, obviously not the hotel's fault, is noticeable, especially if you've come from a quiet country location but nothing unusual. It did quiet down some in the evenings. The bathroom area was large with a tub and a wonderful shower. We ate breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was a modest size buffet with made to order hot food such as dosas and eggs and was good. At dinner we found a fair number of mosquitos in the dining room and a somewhat, I think, inexperienced staff that was friendly but a little spotty on the service. Food was mostly good but nothing super memorable. I definitely recommend this hotel and would return if we were to find ourselves once again in Cochin.
