Ayatana is an exceptional place located in the midst of a forest. Its location is unique considering there is a private waterfall providing you with a breath of fresh air every time you get out of your room. Speaking of the room, we stayed in a Suite cottage, and, it was really good. The room was big, so was the bathroom, and, the living room was decent enough to sit down and relax or even grab your laptop for some work. You've got a big 55' TV if you fancy watching something. The property is huge, and you have plenty to do including Nature walk, Yoga, Zip-lining (absurd), rope walking and so much more. For people who fancy some indoor games, you've practically got everything you need including Ping Pong, Carrom, Snooker, Foosball etc. And, of course, there's a large infinity pool overlooking the waterfall which makes it surreal when you take a dip in the water. The best part though is the food which is incredible! Such a big spread, plenty of options for both vegetarians & non-vegetarians. Every single dish is crafted to perfection. 99% of the dishes we had were exceptional. Desserts are really nice, and you have different options everyday. Some of the breakfast items could've been better, but, overall, very very good. To top it off, the staff are very kind & attentive. They are always ready to listen to you, and attend to your requests. So, kudos to them! A couple of things can be improved though - some of the corners of the room could've been cleaned better as we found some spider webs. And, the housekeeping team should automatically refill the Shower gel and or Shampoo without us asking for them to do so. Other than that, an incredible experience! The property is very beautiful with an amazing waterfall. We stayed their for few days the ambience was good and the staff were very hospitable and friendly. We really enjoyed the morning nature walk and the view of water fall from glass house and swimming pool

Best view and awesome hospitality. The restaurant team and the activity team has done a fabulous job overall loved the experience. The waterfall is best part of the this place . So looking forward to stay at ayatana Ooty . Thank you for being a great host🙏

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ayatna and it was a truly fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully landscaped gardens and well-maintained facilities. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a breathtaking view of the surroundings. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights of our stay was the dining experience. The on-site restaurants offered a wide variety of delicious dishes, catering to all tastes and dietary preferences. Each meal was a culinary delight, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the resort's amenities, including the luxurious spa, the pristine swimming pool, and the well-equipped gaming center. There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, and we especially loved the guided nature walks. The resort's staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and eager to assist with any request. Their genuine care and professionalism made our stay even more enjoyable. It's the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommended!

Worth for money & best place highly recommend view from the cottages are best & the best part is inhouse waterfall , had a wonderful experience.staff are very friendly . Feeling very relaxed so much greenery & beautiful waterfall Amazing location.

I stayed here around end of May for 2 nights. Sorry for the late review but I had to do this. The checkin was super disappointing and they had a group check in the same time that they couldn’t manage. Under staffed and the reception staff was so pressured that they couldn’t even give a smile to welcome you. The washroom at the lobby felt was so dirty and unkept the day I checked in. We directly went for lunch and the food was so disappointing. The buffet felt like there was free food and so unorganised, not hot and really badly kept. When I said I’ll go for alacarte I was told I’ll get more discount if I take the buffet but I didn’t want to take it. This was a total put off for me and the menu for alacarte was so limited. They don’t have half the pasta mentioned and it felt like what am I paying for. REALLY NEED TO UP YOUR FOOD GAME. When I went to my room there were not enough toiletries and when complained I was told it was given to the next room. That wasn’t even a reason to give without refilling. Went to the lobby and when asked to speak to the manager as usual i was told the GM was not available and when I insisted I’ll speak on call. They made sure it all went well but it shouldn’t take a guest to speak to GM to get things sorted. I told the GM I hope I can see you tomorrow and for my entire stay he’s not come and met me or checked and I knew he was there the other two days. Oh and Buggy’s don’t come on time and there is no one to help you with it knowing the property has zero network. Basically extremely understaffed I blame the management and mainly the GM for putting so much pressure on the staff. Basically can definitely give this a skip and the Ayatana Coorg really needs to up its game. Only Sai ram in the service team is super hands on and extremely good with his job even without a complain. Thank you

Excellent property and the personal touch by the staff right from the reception area (Yukta, Deepa, Jishnu, Unni etc.) covering well all the departments, the naturalist Mr Vishwanath and his activity partner Rajesh to the chefs Sukhendu, SaiRam and the housekeeping staff Emol and not to forget the bartender Mr Som really took me during my stay. I will highly recommend the property for its location, it's natural waterfall, it's food and it's brilliant staff.
