Very close to the station. Ambience is good 👍. Clean and neat bathroom with toiletry items. Housekeeping and staff are friendly. For sure we shall recommend it to other people.

The plus point of this hotel is that it’s right in the city next to all the must see attractions of Kozhikode. Malabar palace used to be one of the top hotels in the 90’s and it seems they are still existing because of that goodwill. The hotel has a rundown feel and surely needs a makeover. The clout of this hotel is dipping. Lack of security measures, inexperienced and laidback attitude of the staff manning the reception, poor day to day management are all adding up to the negatives. But I must complement the security guards and some of the slightly older staff members who are still keeping the tradition of exemplary service going on. And for heaven’s sake, try to get the tidying up done before or after business hours, the last thing we need is a welcome shower of dust while checking in. Pic attached. Great to come back to Tripenta Calicut, very nice Hotel with great Ambience and team around. Rooms has great views and so is the Restaurant on the 7th Floor. Well spread Buffet breakfast. Cannot miss mentioning of Ms. Niketa, of good services at this restaurant and of course Rijesh the Duty Manager cum Restaurant Manager, always to helpful and ever smiling. Front office staff ever so helpful and smiling. Mentioning the names of Krishna Priya (reservation)/ Sajith/Fathima/Aiswarya.
