索朗谷度假村(Solang Valley Resort)

We reached in the evening and were allotted two rooms as per our booking. The rooms were ok. Not great, not bad. We requested for a not required of welcome drink give Tea. To our utter surprise, the room service guy said that Tea will be chargeable. We ordered for food - the chicken and paneer item were bad, the peanut masala had two big stones which meant that the resort was sourcing low quality adulterated stuff. We complained but there were no apologies or replacement. One guy just came and took the dish back. We were also charged for the peanut masala. We then proceeded for dinner to their restaurant. The waiters were rude with a take it or leave it attitude. The breakfast spread was okay. However, when we ordered Dosa and Omlette they said they cant serve buffet is closed at 10:45Am. All in all it was not a very pleasant experience. Avoid this resort and take this as a last resort if nothing else is available.

The service was good..........Hotels were neat and clean......... My child enjoyed all the fun zone and other activities like Table tennis...... We all enjoyed Bon fire and music at night in the garden.....Overall experience was good.....

Excellent service. The staff here is extremely warm and helpful. My family and I really had so much fun. Food is really good here. It is a really good resort for spending your time especially in winters when the whole resort is covered with snow.

Quite good experience. Good staff very cooperative . Resort is in very good locality.Good food,neat and clean rooms . Peaceful location away from crowd.Evening entertainment is very nice.They arranged local people for local singing and Nati dance.We enjoyed our trip very much.

Fantastic property. Beautiful views of the snowy Himalayas from our room itself and also all around the property. Good views of the Beas River as well . Mr Ketan Reddy , in charge of Public Relations, took excellent and personalised care of us. Very neatly maintained and full of lush green vegetation . Comfortable room with heater. Restaurant food was very tasty. All in all a memorable experience.

Excellent service, supportive and friendly staff. My little one enjoyed alot. Really loved their evening activities specially Nati traditional dance of himachal.must visit. Highly recommended. Whatever you ask for from the resort, it gets fulfilled without any hassles. They are very courteous and very flexible in terms of travellers needs. Always very cooperative, rooms are too good with a great view of the valley/glaciers, food is good, so much of fun activities every night like DJ night, live music, folk dance, karaoke etc and specially kids fun zone activities. All amenities are well maintained & fully operational. Special thanks to whole SVR team for making our stay very much comfortable & they have been fully indulged with all the travellers attending all their needs! I would definitely come back into Solang Valley resort whenever I visit manali again!!
