新郎海灘別墅度假酒店(Grooms Beach Villa & Resort)

On the whole we had a wonderful stay at the Grooms Hotel and Villa’s in St George’s Grenada. The room we booked was a delux studio and was very spacious. Two double beds, large shower with ample hot water and a full kitchen. The restaurant food was very good in our opinion. Drinks also plentiful and reasonably priced. There isn’t very much around in that area of St George’s other than one other bar you’ll need to catch the bus or get a taxi to other bars and restaurants which will cost EC15 for the bus and EC60 for a taxi. Two beaches are within walking distance from the hotel and both have stunning scenery but completely deserted. A very enjoyable stay was had.

Close to the airport, but quite remote. Good enough for an overnight in transit. AC and clean, but basic. There is a kettle and a fridge so you can bring supplies for a morning cuppa but they only provide instant coffee and sugar. There is a bar & restaurant, but no guests were using it while I was there. Very quiet. 10 minute walk to the airport or a $12 US cab ride.

A small aggressive dog!!! My error in not asking if animals are allowed. Due to construction getting to the beach was a hazard.

Pool was nice. Dining area was closed for supper ( only open for breakfast and lunch) Off the beaten path and limited transportation. Walking distance to the beach and to 2 nearby restaurants as well as a nice little pub across the street.

No hot water. The screens have holes so bugs are all over. Overall very run down.

Water issues at the last four days of my vacation really put a damper on my stay/vacation.

I like the accessibility to the airport. The swimming pool is nice. Our room was not ready for us. The electric to the light switch, and tv was not on. Also the electric to make the water hot was not on and it was located outside the bathroom, which we found out later. There were no written instructions about this. Also one lamp did not work at all, and one of the lights above the bathroom sink did not work either. We had to "set up" the room ourselves. This was not acceptable for the price.

I booked a room and there was no service too help me at the front desk so I didn’t even get a room I would like my money back
