Esteban, Linka and Jorien made our stay amazing! Awesome gourmet chef Irene cooked up some delish red snapper and sea bass wow! Amazing!

DONT GO THERE. THERE IS NO HOTEL ITS CLOSED ITS A SCAM. We arrived in la fortuna with no place to stay it wasnt a nice experience at all. Had to call booking a thousand times. THIS HOTEL IS CLOSED DONT GO THERE.

This place is a gem!! It definitely exceeded our expectations. The place is so beautiful with beautiful garden, pool, outdoor seating and kitchen, even provides free laundry. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bathroom and were spacious, nice and new looking. It is located near a grocery store and some very good restaurants that you can walk to. They let you borrow brand new bikes for free. The owner is super nice and chill. The place was quiet and peaceful, no kids running around or loud people, loved it

Worst place ever, No reception, No sign on the road even no in the entrance, NO WIFI - They lied that's it's the company problem , no one to communicate with, and finally after you find someone they don't speak English at all, they didn't check my name or my reservation, just showed me a room without getting any key , the pool is dirty

Very nice, inexpensive, clean hotel with a relaxing pool and great breakfasts — just 2 km off the main (crowded) streets of La Fortuna, and with several great local restaurants within 500m. Beds are comfortable, great showers and air conditioning, and friendly staff. It’s the perfect base for La Fortuna adventures.

What a fantastic little oasis! You're literally steps away from a grocery store and about 10 restaurants, and only a few minutes away from the hot springs and all sorts of other activities, yet once you're inside the gates of the hotel it's completely quiet and you feel like you're in the middle of a beautifully landscaped estate. It was so pretty. I was expecting the pool and the cute little room, but I wasn't expecting the adorable restaurant and the games area with a pool table! We ended up having all of our meals in the restaurant - the food was great and make sure you try the fruit smoothies!!! - and wished we were staying for longer. Absolutely five stars for this gem of a hotel!

The grounds of this hotel are beautiful. We hung out by the pool and in the gazebo every morning and evening. The location is also very central, but not right in the hub of La Fortuna. Lots of restaurants nearby and a good grocery store right beside it. Most of the staff was very friendly. Diana was so helpful and provided excellent customer service - her English was very good. Disliked · The kitchen in our room was not well stocked and the beds were pretty hard. The biggest frustration was finding the place - there is no sign at all! It is located right beside the Red Frog Coffee place but you have to open the gate or go through the restaurant to find it.

It's worth noting that check-in is only open at certain times of the day and it's worth messaging to get the code to the gate before you arrive (I had to wait until someone noticed me). The staff are great, super friendly, helpful, and always checking in. The shared facilities are really helpful (kitchen, washing machine, free bikes, pool table, games, etc.). The rooms are basic and could do with a bit of a revamp, but have a fridge and were comfortable enough. There is no housekeeping during your stay. The pool area is small but nice and it's supposedly got a good view of the volcano (it was cloudy when I was there). It's a little out of town but has restaurants nearby and it's $1.50 in a Uber. It was great value for money and it's really made by the staff.

We stayed here for three nights and could definitely have stayed longer! The owner was amazing - really friendly and helpful and even drove us into town. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Clean and tidy with a lovely shower. Though breakfast wasn’t included, you could order breakfast to the room for $5 or there was the Red Frog cafe next door which also did a good breakfast. There was a lovely pool outside and a seating area - a really nice place to relax. The location was good. Though not in town was right next to a supermarket and was surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Great place and would definitely recommend for people to use as their base in La Fortuna
