How can you beat being right on the ocean!!!!! The hotel needs to be renovated!

The view from the ocean front room is spectacular.

All was okay at this older hotel for sleeping, nothing fancy, but right next to the beach SO GREAT LOCATION. There was only one problem ---it was absolutely freezing at night in our room, and our room had NO HEAT only a portable heater unit after I called the front desk. When I called in the middle of the night freezing, I thought they were joking when they said there was no heat for the room! I think he may have said some rooms have heat, others do not, but cannot remember for sure.

For the room with a see view I paid additional $120 , one night costed me $450, but I didn't find any water in the room , when I asked on front desk why I don't have any water in the room they told me : because of covid ... But they already don't where a masks )

I had a great stay here with my daughter. The front desk help was AMAZING-very accommodating and I was able to move from a back room to an Ocean Front based on their recommendation. They seamlessly moved us into a new room and we didn't have to wait. The location is perfect-near restaurants, coffee shops, and cute boutique stores. The valet were prompt and so were the cleaning crew when I had requests for more blankets. You MUST stay OCEAN Front-it changes the entire fell of the stay.

The room we were in had a door to the adjacent room. That door allowed all the noise from the adjacent room to come into our room - seemed like they were standing in our room. The staff was good in responding when we finally called them at 10:30 PM to have them go ask the neighbors to turn down their music and quiet their voices. However, if they are not going to have a sound proof door with seals around it that keeps the noise from one room from being "shared" with the adjacent room, then they should remove the door and fill in the wall.
