Everything about this B & B is just right. Reasons we picked it; location with a guaranteed parking space. There’s a lot more to it; owners are friendly, everything you need in the room & just ask them if you need anymore. Very useful leaflets of local walks. Everywhere is spotlessly clean & warm. The breakfasts are absolutely lovely

I can't praise Elder Grove enough. The rooms were very comfortable, crisp white bedding on a very comfortable bed, large good quality towels in the bathroom with plentiful toiletries. Matt and Lucy are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Breakfast was amazing and tea/coffee etc. in our room was plentiful. Although we didn't use the honesty bar, what a great idea for people that would like to. Also there was a fridge just by the bar with a supply of fresh milk if you happened to run out in the evening and wanted a hot drink, there was nothing that wasn't thought about. Parking safely and easily was a bonus, we have found this to be a problem sometimes in the Lake District. Would definitely recommend and if we're back in the area there is nowhere we would rather stay.

my room was very clean and had everything a solo traveller would require.the host was extremely helpful and had strong knowledge of the area and was good with advice.the breakfast was exceedingly good and i look forward to staying again and would advise others to stay.

Very comfortable bed and everything was immaculately clean. Delicious breakfast, in fact nothing to fault at all. Hosts very welcoming. Excellent value for money. I have no hesitation in recommending Elder Grove

Absolute perfection! We were so impressed with the way the booking was handled, our welcome. Both rooms were first class and we had everything we needed, the decor was stunning. Lucy and Matt were so friendly and helpful. Beautiful clean rooms. The best stocked coffee/tea selection we have ever had. Bed was so comfortable. We have been before, and were not disappointed this time around. Elder Grove is immaculately presented, comfortable and well placed. The staff are great, the breakfast spot-on and there is ample parking. The views from our room were very nice, it was a pleasure to sit on the window seat looking out and reading.

Such a great place, comfortable king size bed, clean and bright bath room, every you need for a lovely stay. Breakfast delicious, best poached eggs ever. Hosts are lovely, knowledgeable about the area. With a service smile. Will definitely return.

I stayed five nights in a single room. Room was very comfortable and I appreciated the bathtub. Great breakfast cooked to order and a lovely Victorian lounge to sit in while enjoying a drink from the honesty bar. Great location close to the bus terminal and grocery store.
