How this property ever got its high rating is not a mystery ... they got everyone they knew to write good reviews. First impressions really count. The person who checked us in was nervous, anxious and very defensive - with every single thing that was said. After that, people at the front desk were friendly and the morning person was just fine. The property itself does not deserve its 4 rating. More like a 1.5 at best. The property is in poor condition, the beds sagged and the towels are disgusting. Don't do it!

We've stayed here many times over the last 4 years while our daughter attended college. The staff has always been very nice and accommodating (early check-in, late check-out, extra pillow), and the rooms are always very clean and ready for us. Breakfast is simple but well-stocked with pancakes, microwavable sausage egg and cheese croissants, and the usual cereal, wrapped muffins, yogurt etc. Stayed at the other hotel once and was not impressed. Save your money and stay here!

This is about what one would expect in rural southern Iowa. It’s so close to being really good, just a bit more attention to detail. Get rid of the colonial furniture in the updated rooms, it looks odd. The lobby and hallways need some inves**ent and tlc. That said, I would likely stay there again in a pinch.

The room and bed was clean and comfortable. The carpeting in the hall was dirty. The windows has broken seals. It seemed a little run down

This is at least our 4th stay here. That should say a lot. Room is clean, beds are comfortable, continental breakfast is good, nice people.

This is the second time we stay at this property. Affordable, convenient, friendly staff and easy check in/out process.

Certainly worth the price! A quiet stay and room was pretty clean. Breakfast is nothing to write home about overall a good experience.
