摩爾恩德民宿(Moor End House Bed & Breakfast)

B&B nell'immediata periferia di Durham, con solo due posti macchina disponibili per parcheggio. Il prezzo di 120 £ a notte è un po' altino per una camera poco soddisfaciente, con buchi non sistemati nel pavimento in legno e difficoltà ad appendere vestiti. La camera dei nostri amici, allo stesso prezzo era migliore. Forse è più giusto abbassare un po' il prezzo della nostra. Colazione quasi ottima, servita molto bene dalla signora con tratti asiatici, anche se mancava lo yogurt. Il proprietario, di origine cinese, si è reso disponibile ad accompagnarci in centro e a venirci a prendere con la sua macchina, è stato molto gentile e questo compensa qualche altra magagna, perchè avremmo avuto difficoltà a parcheggiare in centro per visitarlo.

William, who owns the guest house was extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. The room was clean & comfortable, with a good little shower room en suite. Everything you could think of was provided - biscuits, tea & coffee, fridge, extra radiator if needed, all forms of toiletries etc. We ordered breakfast by choosing anything we wanted from a really comprehensive menu the night before and it was laid out for us in the breakfast room at exactly the time we had asked for it. William even organised a driver to take us to and pick us up from a gig at the Stadium of Light. We would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Stayed one night as as was dropping off my daughter to uni. The owner, William was absolutely wonderful. So kind, welcoming and helpful. Gave us a great suggestion for where to have dinner and even offered to drive us! The Inn is only about a 10 minute drive to central Durham and is located in a very nice area. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Durham.

We loved to stay at this place. William, the owner, was very kind and helpful. He even helped us to make our breakfast Vegan when we asked him if it was possible.The room was beautiful and cosy, with a kettle, a microwave, a very comfortable bed and a very clean en-suite bathroom. The breakfast was big and delicious. Excellent communication from the host. Literally 8 minutes by car from Durham town centre.

The staff were friendly and efficient, couldn't have been better. But the room itself, while wonderfully spacious, could've been heated better, especially the bath area. Taking a shower was a real act of courage.

Super cosy and a nice hot breakfast in the morning. Tea, coffee, and cookies in our room was a nice little touch. Easy check in and out, and the property was very clean and tidy. The host was extremely nice and even offered to drive us into town when we checked out. They really make sure every need is met and I will definitely be returning.
