VIK別墅精品酒店(Villa Vik - Hotel Boutique)

Charmant kleinschalig boutique hotel met uitstekende service en ook zeer goed eten. Wij hadden halfpension geboekt. ook fantastisch bevallen . Ze vinden het wel fijn als na het ontbijt aangeeft of je in avond dineert. Vonden de bedden te hard , maar kregen meteen toppers erop. Aanrader !!

Vorweg: Es war nicht einfach zu finden. Aber dann sieht man ein sehr hübsches, stilvolles, kleines Hotel. Wir erlebten sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten ein geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon ( es gibt aber auch andere). Es gibt eine gestaltete Gartenlandschaft rund um den Pool mit Formen der runden Weinbaumäuerchen, wo man sich zurückziehen kann, wenn man‘s braucht. Auch ein Whirlpool ist vorhanden. Das hauseigene Restaurant hat uns nicht so behagt. Wir machten lieber einen Abendspaziergang zur Playa Honda.

Wij hadden onze huwelijksreis in hotel Vila VIK. En hebben er volop van genoten !! Knappe setting vriendelijk personeel. Rustig en dicht bij een boulevard aan het water met vele bankjes en en magnifiek uitzicht. Bijna zo goed als het ontbijt. Want dat was perfect !! Engels ontbijt, pannenkoekjes of wafels met fruit alles te verkrijgen.. Mmmm top !!

A superb little gem tucked away near the beach. Food cooked to order and of the highest quality. Staff were attentive and friendly making our stay a real delight. The only request that I would make its that a seasonal vegetable was added to the main course dish to add colour and a different taste.

This was our second stay at the Villa Vik. Two weeks this time. We love the peace and quiet of the hotel and all the staff are just wonderful. Belfar especially. We stayed half board as we are no longer able to walk 30 mins there and 30 mins back again to the nearest local restaurant. The food at dinner would put us off coming again. We are not fussy people but some of it, especially the fish, was almost inedible. Two weeks and not a vegetable in sight! The restaurant unsurprisingly was very quiet in the evenings. Such a shame . Thankyou to all the staff who are wonderful.

This is a lovely small quiet hotel and the staff are amazing, couldn’t do enough for you but do not go here if you are a foodie, you will be disappointed, not good at all. You definitely need a car as you are in the middle of nowhere and the sea being 200 metres away is across an unmade path to a promenade but not a beach. The hotel is spotlessly clean. I am not sure I would class it as 5 stars.

The positives about this hotel are the bedrooms, communal areas and the pool and gardens. A nice team of staff but not enough to manage the hotel during our stay. The hotel is located in the suburbs of Arricife and it is a 15 - 20 minute walk to any cafes, restaurants, shops and bars. However, during our 4 night stay (half board) the food was very disappointing, especially the evening meal. A fixed menu, with only two choices for the starter and main, four for dessert. The standard and quality of the food was poor, unappetising and dull. On our final evening we decided to eat in Arricife; excellent food and a much better atmosphere than the hotel. We would not return to the hotel. Most guests had hired a car; we walked as the promenade is easily accessible and there are two old bikes, that can be borrowed. We chose this hotel based on many positive reviews; our experience was mixed hence a three star rather than five star review.

We’re sadly leaving Villa Vik after a week’s stay over Christmas. This is a beautiful small hotel for adults only with personal and friendly service. Other reviews have likened it to staying in a private villa belonging to a good friend with excellent taste in art and we couldn’t agree more. Everything is so tastefully selected and presented and combines to create a calm and peaceful environment for guests to relax. The garden and pool are just lovely and, luckily for us, the hotel was quiet for most of our week so we enjoyed time in the garden alone more than once. Michaela and Belfer were the two primary members of the team who looked after us and both were absolutely fantastic. We had dinner in the restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed drinks in the bar in the evenings before and after dinner. From the hotel we walked into Arrecife and Playa Honda along the seafront, the location is perfect for both. Bicycles are available to use if preferred. We highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return.

I wrote a review about the terrible experience we had in Villa Disaster, but unfortunally it didn't appear yet. Absolutely not 5 star, only the prices are 5 star level. If you are willing to spend this kind of money on your holiday, you can find far better alternatives on the beautiful island of Lanzarote. Avoid!!!
