Casas Da Lapa, Nature & Spa Hotel

We (family of four, one 10, one 12 year old) stayed 2 nights at Casas Da Lapa in April 2023. The Hotel is located in a beautiful part of the Sierra da Estrella region, and located in a tiny village clinging to the hillside. We had a very nice, warm welcome, and the Hotel itself is very well appointed. Our room was excellent, very cosy and comfortable and we were given drinks and chocolates on arrival. The Hotel is very well appointed, clean, comfortable and comes with outdoor pools (2) which in the summer would be terrific but in April were a bit too cold even for British tourists, and a small indoor pool (which you have to book in advance a slot to use, which we found a bit strange and restrictive, but it was what it was). There is also a cinema (which we never saw being used), a lounge, reading room, dining room and lots of Spa treatments we didn't use. On reflection we think the Hotel probably caters best for older tourists who will take advantage of the cinema, reading rooms, etc and who appreciate quietness and calm. Having two young kids wanting to race around and jump in pools probably didn't quite fit in to the surroundings. Having said all that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time, staff were friendly and helpful, the local loop walk was superb, and the dinner and breakfasts were fantastic. Thank you very much to the owners and staff for a very good stay. (one small tip for the Hotel - in the room it would have been great to have more hooks to hang towels and bath robes on. After a swim we had 4 wet towels, and 4 wet bath robes which we ended up having to loop around the stair rail)

Excellent hotel, with good location. Close to many attractions in the area - we spent one day at Piodao. The rooms are big, clean, well equipped and maintained, as all the hotel in general. Food is great, nice spa and facilities, and above all incredible staff!!!! Great experience and very recommended

A nossa estadia foi soberba! O hotel tem tudo o que é preciso para uns dias perfeitos! As piscinas são fantásticas, as refeições (pequeno almoço, almoço e jantar) deliciosos e repletos de detalhes. Chef de excelência. Referência especial ao staff, inestimável em simpatia, profissionalismo e gentileza. Hotel muito friendly do nosso 4 patas, que também teve direito a mimos. Perfeito para atividades ao ar livre e descansar. Voltaremos de certeza!

Incrível. Tudo é incrível neste alojamento. A localização, a cascata, a vista de montanha, a decoração de extremo cuidado e bom gosto, o staff maravilhoso, o restaurante que é fenomenal, incluindo a chef que é uma simpatia. Tem variados tipos de quarto à disposição, 2 piscinas exteriores com esplanada e camas, 1 interior com spa que se pode reservar apenas para nós, biblioteca, sala de estar com sofás e lareira, sala de cinema, um restaurante lindo e ainda um parque privado para os carros. É mesmo um paraíso no meio da montanha.

Wonderful place. I needed a rest and certainly I got a delightful one in this place. The sound of the water running, the sound of birds in an exquisite environment. Local products turned into tasty meals. Friendly employees always ready to make an unforgettable stay. Really relaxed massagem program. To come back for!

Uma grata surpresa! As instalações estupendas, com muito conforto, decoração, locais de descontração, de lazer, de leitura, de descanso. Uma Equipe extraordinária: atenciosa, cordial e muito competente! Faz a diferença, com atendimento sempre personalizado! O pequeno almoço muito bom e os jantares saborosos e acessíveis! As áreas de lazer são incríveis! A localização? Fica pertinho do paraíso!

O que trouxemos, antes de mais, foi a amabilidade: Lusitana, Nuno (s), e toda a restante equipa. Que maravilha. Encantados com a localização, com o SPA, com a envolvente (a floresta, as vistas), e ainda o pequeno-almoço. Apetece ficar 2 semanas. Queremos muito voltar. Obrigado.

Hotel ideal para descansar, localização fantástica, funcionários muito profissionais e atenciosos. As refeições, que podem ser tomadas na esplanada do hotel junto a uma das piscinas, são muito agradáveis com especial referência para o pequeno almoço.
