Had a fantastic holiday, we went self catering as wanted to venture outside the hotel on an evening. Get a back gate key as saves your legs immensely €10 as deposit but saved us so much time. Shop was well stocked and not badly priced either we used it daily for pop,water etc Pool food during the day was excellent hot and staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were spacious but no working air con when daily temps was 38 was crazy and we got charged to hire a fan. Nice that each block has a pool we had a quiet few days before the half term school holidays started so we had the pool to ourselves, the large pool was extremely cold and deep all round so we didn’t use it. The grounds were cleaned and immaculately kept, loved the plastic cup boxes on each block great idea to keep the place tidy for the drinks cups to be put in. I will definitely return great place and location only 15min walk to the seafront and lots of shops, bars and restaurants with The Harp bar being one of our favourites.

Отель состоит из комплекса ”бунгало”, расположенных очень близко друг к другу При этом очень напоминает советскую (но продвинутую, практически ”обкомовскую” ) турбазу с бассейном не территории WiFi только на reception Мебель очень старая, но бедье свежее, чистое Отель расположен на горе: - на море не находишься (есть в прокат городские электросамокаты, можно на такси - +/- 3,5Eu ) СВЧ (разогретьзамороженую пиццу), плита (не пользовался), посуда (не густо) - есть В целом соответствует цена-качество

Let's start with the good things - the communication with the hotel even before arrival was relatively good, they responded to our inquiries regarding the room location request, but of course they kept giving an answer that they did not commit, but when we arrived, they made a note and gave us the location we wanted (in retrospect, we did not choose well - details below). There are many sun beds around the pool, the room is spacious and the location of the hotel is excellent. Now for the things that disappointed us - we asked for a room in the center facing the pool because of the view but we found that during the whole day there is a very, very strong sun on the balcony to such an extent that it is not possible to sit there all day, it's a shame they didn't put a beach umbrella or a pergola. There was no microwave in our room even though it was supposed to be (we didn't even bother to ask), during the first three days there were massive renovations in the hotel. At first the reception representative told us that it was something specific but it really wasn't, we saw that they had put scaffolding in the rooms next to it to renovate the balconies and also on the roof there was a large team working noisily with a drill and at the same time trucks arrived and unloaded sand into the garden. All this when the hotel was fully booked in one of the most requested weeks of the year. At the entrance to our room there were glasses from the room next door that were probably pushed out for the cleaner to take but they stayed there for 4 whole days. Even though we locked the room, the cleaner entered the room (locking it from the inside has no meaning...). One day the power went out in the gym and none of the hotel staff noticed at all (I went to the reception to inform them) and the hardest thing of all - at breakfast which is in the open bar by the pool there are a lot of pigeons that come and sit on the tables and the bar and the food stalls. Most of the food is enclosed in glass installations, but the surface of the bread and the heater and the drinks and the jams and many other things are exposed to the pigeons that come and sit on them and none of the staff does anything about it. Today there are many solutions for imitating ions even using electronic sound devices. Located right in the heart of the city. 5 mins to the Playa De Las Canteras beach, 15 - 20 mins to the Playa De Las Alcaravaneras beach, we preferred this one as it was quieter & more sheltered, not windy. Hotel has 24 hour reception, friendly staff offering maps & to book trips. 2 lifts. ROOMS - Quite spacious, no balcony, opening window & sliding window, close both for great noise reduction. 2 chairs & table. No fridge, free AC, TV - 2 English channels. 2 really comfy beds, bedding changed every couple of days. Plenty of wardrobe space. Safe which you pay for. Only downside not many plug sockets, 1 near tv, 2 old ones either side of the beds. FREE - WIFI, very fast, in rooms. Walls where a bit thin. but it is an old Hotel. BATHROOM - careful stepping up the step. No bath, only shower cubicle, always had hot water. Hairdryer, towels changed every couple of days just leave them on the floor. Cleaning of the rooms was excellent - a massive thank you to the cleaning staff. There is also a window cleaner who cleans your windows every week, ( he was great ). Restaurant - was chaotic at times due to lack of space. you had to queue at breakfast, wait to be shown to a table - opens 7.30 am - 10.00 am. for Breakfast. 7.00 pm - 9.30 pm. For Dinner. BREAKFAST - bacon, scrambled, fried, & boiled eggs, beans, sausages, mushrooms, potatas bravas, tomatoes, cooked meats & cheeses, fruit, salad, yogurt, cereals, chorros & chocolate sauce. Breads, toast, pastries. Don Simon juices, freshly ground coffee - BEST EVER !! DINNER - Soup, salads, about 4 hot choices of meat & fish, a few veg, chips, rice, couscous, pasta. Nice choice of desserts, 3 ice cream choices, fruit. FREE WATER - a nice touch thank you. On the top floor - Swimming pool, sunbeds, outside seating areas, sauna, gym, tv room, reading room, free reading books, to borrow - not many English books. Table tennis, pool table, internet area, Bar & coffee area - popular on a night time. Luggage Room, plenty of seats in reception. We would recommend this Hotel as it was the cheapest in it's class, we have booked to come back next year. Thank You for an enjoyable stay.

Great Location. The local bus No 22 stops right outside the airport. 1.4 euros to the bus terminal at the end of the beach, 10 minute journey, every 20 minutes. Its then only a 5 minute walk along the beach to the hotel. Refurbished hotel with a good selection at breakfast. Swimming pool on roof with a bar that serves great food. The barman, Pepe was fantastic.
