Room was fine, a little smaller than expected for the cost but had all we needed.
Checking in very slow, hotel was busy with a wedding but only 1 person on front desk so took 25 minutes to get checked in

Our room was ok , bed comfortable. Shower was terrible, took 15 minutes to get warm water through & when we told them at checkout, we was told it’s an old building !

We had a lovely stay. The hotel has good amenities and wonderful history with beautiful original features. Only slight negative was our room was very cold and you couldn't increase the temperature.

Hotel was lovely, noise from doors banging all night annoying , fire doors rattled with every open and close of the door. Bar food not complete meal, breakfast great though.

I left within 3hrs of checking in and drove 4hrs home after trying to call reception 4 times to see if at least a fan was available in the terribly hot room. That also appeared to be in the roof with very poor ventilation (room no 49).
Couldn't even discuss at check out as at least 8 people in queue and one poor very polite member of staff on desk who had been the person who also had to chase several people when I arrived at 3.30pm as room wasn't even ready.
Really disappointing as looks great online!

Some staff were rude. Room was not properly cleaned. Spa is in need of maintenance. Some staff need more training. Rooms away from the main building (where the spa, restaurant and bar are) are a long walk outside. Bar food was bland (microwaved and tinned ingredients). Overall unpleasant. Wouldn't recommend. Parking was free though.

Very hot day. No fan in room - took over 3 hours and several calls to reception before getting one. room cramped and not enough desk space for laptop.
