Old school hotel, air conditioner didn’t work, Bubba Gump food to go was cold. In and out stay, slept well though.

I love the golden nugget! Always clean and pool is usually empty! They have the nicest pool from all the hotels there. Salt grass restaurant is also sooo good!

Great couples get away

The beds seemed laundered. The presentation welcoming. No hair dryer in the bathroom. It was the first time i didn't brining a hair dryer because I always find one in the room. The front desk was very ready to accomodate . I encountered them approximately 4 times. They were always friendly and welcoming. The bathroom tub was pretty unkept. So house keeping could use some work; otherwise, The staff was great.

We booked a king room. After the desk agent checked us in and had us sign off, she then informed us that king rooms were sold out and we’d have 2 queens. It was our anniversary so obviously we wanted the king room we booked. She then told us it would be an upgrade charge to put us in a pet room that had a king. She ended up waiving the charge but the pet room basically smelled like a pet store, heavy with bleach and cleaners. We checked in right at 4 when told so our reservation shouldn’t have been given to someone else. Unfortunate. The steak house was great, though!

Elevator was broke, I'm recovering from a femur break,I let the staff know when they informed me of the elevator.front desk dismissed my concern and put us on the third floor. Front desk asked if I wanted maid services I stated yes she told me most guests don't want staff in their rooms. I asked again for cleaning service again she stated if I wanted maid services to let them know I told front desk I want service do not turn it off. Day 3 I had to call and ask for services no towels they didn't make our bed. Elevator is still broken it's been that way for a year according to the cleaning staff.

Bathroom sink would not drain, had to hold handle to flush, shower dribbled water, didnt have carts to load luggage from car to room, wait staff at Bubba Gump was so bad, spoke with front desk about issues in toom and young lady said she could not help so what else do we want. Asked during check in what the daily resort fees covered, other than a cold outside pool it could not be explained but still had to be paid. We paid an additional $25 fee to get in a room as we arrived at 3pm NV time (4 pm AZ) and we would have had to wait, this fee covered a ground floor room with a patio to a pool that could not be used, but the idea of a patio was nice. Overall, the late 80's are over and the hotel needs major refreshing and fixing.

The check in and out was great-professional, yet friendly. Absolutely loved our room as we had 2 dogs. We were on the first floor-the room did not have carpet, which is great if there was any accidents. Also, the room had a patio door that opened out to a grassy courtyard-very pet friendly! Loved that there were bags available to pick up after the pets (although I had my own). Unfortunately, there are still others that do not pick up after their pets. Will definitely recommend to others especially if they have pets.

Our room was in need of maintenance. The bathroom smelled like sewage. The AC didnt work. We had it set for 68 overnight, the unit ran, loudly, all night and it was still 73 in the room. Curtains didnt close properly so the sun woke us early. I know we sidnt pay a ton for the room, but it could be better still
