The Mariner makes a very good overnight stop driving south from the Gold Coast. It is not that far from the motorway and is a very short walk to the main shopping and dining area.

Quiet little motel with lovely staff. Nothing fancy, but just what we needed to rest after a long road trip. Good number of food options in walking distance too, as well as a Coles and pharmacy.

Nestled at the foot of the hills in Laurieton surrounded by luscious green bush, it was a beautiful location. The peace and quiet made for a lovely night's sleep and there were excellent cafes open for breakfast. I really appreciated how clean the room was. Thank you.

First impressions are EVERYTHING. I was greeted warmly and friendly by the owner at reception. Check in was a breeze. It’s only a small complex but it was neat, tidy and well kept. The room although an older style was awesome. Everything very clean, good size fridge, new ac unit that worked flawless and a big tv you didn’t need to sit next to to see. Checking out just as easy as in…… highly recommend…….. if you can get a room.

Very friendly and efficient owner manager.
Simple motel room but clean and tidy (very comfortable beds) with nice touches such as shampoos and biscuits.
Close to restaurants. A perfect stopover.

Neat and tidy rooms, the bed is very comfortable, everything works. The folks who run it are friendly. Close walk to the shops. Very affordable pricing. Was a great place to stop overnight on a road trip (in both directions).
