景緻公寓-海克羅斯之家公寓酒店(Showcase Apartments - Highcross House Apart Hotel)

We booked 2 nights but as soon as we entered the room i wanted to leave and never come back. All place is very dirty and that smell of dust everywhere. Reception was fine but other guests so dodgy what made me feel not safe there at all! Room was very smelly, sofa bed was very dirty and i had to sleep there with my little one and early morning we just left. Horrible noisy night. Pictures dont show the truth. Please avoid this place!!

When we entered the hotel it instantly rang alarm bells! The reception is essentially in a spare room and the man was very unprofessional. We went to the room and it absolutely stank of ****, the wardrobe had collapsed and the apartment I had selected online looked nothing like the one we got! Along with the stench of **** there were iron marks on the carpet, the pillows were disgusting, the wardrobe was broken, there were dirty towels inside it and rubbish down the side of things. After all of this, leaving the room quite frankly better than we found it, they have not returned my £100 deposit and are ignoring all of my emails. They said it would returned on check out, it is now nearly a week later and they have still got my money! I have rang the number and they are also ignoring that too… absolute scam!!!

I have written this review on *********** as well. I wish I had read the recent reviews because I cannot express how much I regret booking this place. I booked three apartments as there were 3 couples of different ages who needed their own space. The place reeks of vomit and ****, I found myself opening all the windows and trying to breathe in fresh air but nothing would help. I found used condom wrappers, tissues and ear swabs beside my bed which made me want to vomit. The towels and pillows were stained all yellows and browns, there was quite a lot of uncleanliness across the apartments. Felt really dirty and unsafe. My parents really struggled as they are old. We were booked in for three nights and left the morning after we arrived because we couldn't breathe or sleep. It was that bad. There were bogies and weird stains on the walls. There was mud on the carpets. The wifi does not allow you the connect to work as the connection is not secure. The stove wasn't working. There was a broken chair and cupboard drawer. The lighting was really poor and there was only one mirror across three rooms in the apartments. Highly highly recommend avoiding this place. It was really gross. We ended up spending a little more at a Novotel just 3 minutes away and it was worth every penny. We all felt genuinely relieved after leaving. It is shocking that after being in a pandemic for over a year and expressing the importance of cleanliness, the first time we are staying away from home we are faced with such a nightmare. Definitely don't book if you're vulnerable - you will probably feel sick. See photos attached - I really am not exaggerating. Also, if you're going to park your car there overnight, you have to use the John Lewis car park which will let you back £20 per night. We were charged £15 per apartment for early check in because the team have to clean the rooms and get them ready but we obviously were ripped off because our apartments were not clean. AVOID!

We had to wait outside in the rain for about 10 minutes for someone to come and let us in. We arrived quite late at night but once in we had to wait again for the room to be prepared. They did move me down to a ground floor room but a couple of hours after going to sleep someone used a key and entered our room. They left pretty quickly but Needless to say we did not sleep well.

Please avoid the place they are fraudulent I made a booking using ******* costing £ 50 and paid in advance when I got there they wanted me to pay £150, I was informed about this on the confirmation and the booking , I explained that I didn’t have that amount on me they refused me to check in and said I wouldn’t get a refund on the advance payment the is a big fraud please didn’t book this please

Grimey room in poor condition with a tiny television and a horrible mattress. Not suitable for a comfortable stay - seems to be designed as student accommodation. They cut corners at every possible stage - for example, not even having towels in the room. Poor customer service - they do their best not to be helpful. Overall, I would not recommend if you’re looking for somewhere pleasant or comfortable. It is suitable if you need somewhere centrally located in Leicester with a kitchen and washing machine.

Bed broken and the wardrobe fell on my son the first day there and that he was scared he got a mark on him but it was nice and clean and me and my kids love it

I didnt go and i want my refund back please because i didnt know you need to pay deposit

I stayed for 2 nights with my son and it was lovely. The only down side was the water pressure in the shower but otherwise fine.
