Spent 3 nights here while attending a family wedding. A comfortable room. We ate the buffet the first night which was extremely unimpressive. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice for both hot and cold food. It was a shame hot dog type sausages were the only choice on the third morning, we had both enjoyed the more traditional style of sausage offered on the previous two mornings. My main complaint is that neither the restaurant nor the bar opened on the Sunday. I do not understand why a hotel bar in particular would be closed to guests. A great shame as there were a lot of positives.

Schön eingerichtet. Nettes Personal an der Rezeption, toller Hauswart. ABER Personal sorgt nach eigenem Bekunden nicht dafür, daß in den Zimmern die Hausordnung eingehalten wird. Und filtert die Gäste nicht. So werden auch volltrunkene Männergruppen in die Gemeinschaftsschlafbereiche eingecheckt, die dort Saufgelage veranstalten. Jeder macht, was er will: keine Nachtruhe nach 22h, Lärm im Schlafraum um Mitternacht oder 6 h früh. Es wird im gemeinsamen Groß- Schlafraum gegessen und dieser vollkommen eingesaut. Ganz zu schweigen von den Unisex-Gemeinschaftstoiletten. Alleinreisende Frauen: VORSICHT !

Recata a Lipsia nel Luglio 2016, con un viaggio di gruppo organizzato dall' Agenzia ”Abaco Viaggi”. Siamo arrivati in ritardo causa un spiacevole disguido e una grossa bugia da parte dell' accompagnatrice di gruppo al titolare dell'hotel. Era meglio la cruda verità e l'ammissione da parte dell'assistente della propria incompetenza.. Nonostante tutto, il titolare è stato cordiale, a mio parere troppo, così come la famiglia e la guida della città. Ho avuto cena tedesca (come poche) e varia, camera spaziosa e fresca. Colazione superlativa. Se tornassi, sceglierei di nuovo questo hotel. Arrivederci dal Friuli Venezia Giulia. Lucia Floreani

We stayed in a well designed one bedroom apartment in this hotel. The hotel has an excellent location. There are good leisure facilities, including sauna, swimming pool and well equipped gym. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay in another Adina hotel when I travel elsewhere

Perfectly situated in one of the oldest streets in Central Leipzig, which the historical area, this hotel was just perfect for our needs. We opted not to take the breakfast option as there are so many eateries in the area and we wanted lots of different breakfast experiences. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate is available 24/7 on the second floor (not in your room). Our room was immaculate, quiet and very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for more. Staff very very polite and helpful. Would I go back? 100%
The location was perfect and the price was suitable for me. There was enough USB and power outlets for everyone. There was also a mirror and a place to hang clothes (e.g. jackets). There were also a fewer hangers than the people in the room but it was ok during my stay; only one other person and myself used them. There were also 6 locker compartments, which was very useful, but you have to buy your own lock. You can buy it from the lobby but in my case they were out of stock so I bought from Rossman, and thankfully I still had time to get one before they close. So, it's better to buy your own lock and use it in your travel. However, being in an 8-bed room with others meant that the toilet was not always clean because of different people using it, having different standards, and the smell in the room was not very good and needed ventilation and something to protect others when someone in the room is sick. So, I would suggest putting leaflets and using controlled rules. Also, the one who used the bed before me has left the pillow and blanket unorganized and with his own dirty cover, so I had to remove them and tidy them before putting mine. I believe, these should be cleaned and tidied up before me. Also, the heater's knob had no numbers so I couldn't know on which level it is. Also, the attitude of the first person I met at the reception desk was not very good at the beginning, but afterwards I didn't have to talk deal a lot with them. I wouldn't recommend a&o's App for usability, but I used to check-in while on the way. However, when I arrived, it was difficult to use the self check-in terminal. It prints a paper with my room number asking me to confirm it, but how do I know the room number in the first place before checking in?? also, whoever used it before me had not taken his printed receipt, so when I had to take the paper, I took also this receipt, with amounts that are not mine, so it was confusing. When I went to the reception clerk and asked him, he first misunderstood and started the checkin based on that wrong receipt. When I started to notice that, I told him (again) that this receipt is not mine, so he asked me (with quiet frustration) ”then why are you showing me this?” and then asked me for my ID to proceed with my check-in. Of course, it feels very bad when he blames me, but also they should be better listeners and need to pay attention to the usability of the self check-in scenario in the App as well as the terminal.
