Wingate by Wyndham Sylvania/Toledo

It was nice for what we needed. There was some weird gunk up on the wall. I have no idea what it was! I hung the do not disturb sign on the door and house keeping still banged on the door twice. And one one blanket was on the bed so we had to crank the heat up bc it was cold.

Not a very friendly front desk person to check-in and out. Smoking in and around the entrances to the building frequently. The main lobby also has the "lounge" area for the complimentary breakfast - it serves also as a party hangout which is extremely noisy to any rooms in the general area. I was on the 2nd floor and the open balcony to the lobby afforded terrible noise. I had to check out 2 nights early but this hotel would only refund one of those nights. Just not customer friendly. I've used them in the past but lesson learned...never again.

Room was dirty, hair in bathroom. Heater was loud vibrating noise. We’ve been staying at this hotel for years and have always liked the location now it’s becoming a bit run down. I don’t know if I’d stay again…

Checked in around 9pm. Jeanette asked what i needed from a chair in the corner. I told her checking in and she in a complaining voice asked if i had reservations. I told her yes and she continued to tell me how inconvenient the prepaid sites were and how it takes forever for the deposit to transfer and how many clicks it takes to check me in. This first contact made the rest of the hotel seem unfavorable. Everyone has an off day now and then but I bet this was normal for Jeanette.

Fantastic staff; they knew we were there for a family medical emergency and helped us out. Besides all that, the hotel was very nice, clean, great condition. The staff handled themselves very well when another group of unruly travelers bent on causing trouble. Loved it!

Very nice hotel, however, Breakfast was very disappointing and should not be advertised as providing “breakfast”. 😳

The stay was ok however the long black hair and q tip on the bathroom floor was a bit nasty and yhe i dont care so what response from the front desk well next time i wont waste money i will spend the 2 nights on dussel drive

Very enjoyable experience all around. We did not try breakfast but it smelled good and the area was kept spotless. If we come back this way we'll stay here for sure.

Sometimes experiencing excellent execution can mimic the feeling of luxury. The Front Desk countertop had mini-cabinet filled with rows of soft Otis Spunkmeyers. That could not have been more perfect for an arrival after 9 hours of driving. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was attentive, and there were good local food options. Breakfast included had plenty of options. I needed to print something, so I visited their business center room. With all the electronic equipment you need, it was also a rare business nook that actually has all the appropriate accoutrements, e.g. scissors, stapler, tape, white out, etc. Grade A attention to detail all around made for an excellent visit!
