Wingate by Wyndham Lethbridge

Location was good which is why we picked this hotel. Although check in was at 3 PM when the 2 of us arrived at 4 PM the front desk staff indicated there may not be sufficient towels or pillows in the room and to advise them if more is needed. There was only 1 set of towels and 3 pillows on the bed. Pillows were too soft and there was no option for firmer ones. Although I asked for a couple of the larger towels, only 1 was provided -- although it was of a much better quality than the one already in the room which was thin and grey. Pets are allowed in this hotel and you could definitely see and hear them. Breakfast was okay but we've had better. The wooden cutlery was not very good to use and tasted like cardboard. Fire alarm went off at 7:30 AM the morning we were to leave so no sleeping in on our last day. Apparently some one burned toast in the breakfast area and there was no announcement of a "false alarm". Beware of the extra fees charged for "Destination Marketing" and "Tourism Levy" in addition to the regular room rate and GST.

I chose this hotel due to it having a hottub, but it had been broken for about a week according to other guests. Pool was freezing. If I had known i would have chosen another hotel. Also there was a bar behind the hotel and someone was outside our room with their music very loud very late at night.

Great stay. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Would stay again.

Double queen room /bathroom size was generous, with lots of hanging storage room. TV screen size and clarity was good. Bathroom has a tub/ shower combo. Coffee station includes a sink; coffee maker is a Keurig. The beds were comfortable firmness/ softness. Included breakfast has the usual plus a few hot items. The breakfast coffee......horrible. We would definitely stay here again as good value..... at the discount rate.

Good hotel, easy to access. Friendly staff that are nice and easy to deal with. Pool and waterslide are convenient and a good size hot tub as well. Rooms are clean and spacious. Curtain blacks the room out so it's nice and dark for sleeping.

Not a big fan of being on the top floor but it doesn’t let you pick what level you want your room on. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic!! Well stocked and very enjoyable, the only bad thing about it was there could have been more tables for people to sit and enjoy.

Pros: Great location close to the mall/downtown. Rooms are clean and quite large, included breakfast is a nice value add. Cons: Elevators and hallways had dirty towels on the floor, food crumbs and just unclean bits all over. The biggest complaint about this hotel is the pool!! It is very cold! It’s February!! The lady at the front desk was nice enough to try to fix it with maintenance on the phone but even the next morning after she stated they “turned it up” there was no change. Several families in there were also complaining and piling into the tiny hot tub to warm up. We complained about it on our last visit 6 months ago and management stated they would correct for next time and they still haven’t so this will be our last visit to this hotel. There are many other comparable options and the Holiday inn we stayed in last time has a lovely heated pool that doesn’t make our children’s lips blue so that is where we’ll stay next time.

This hotel was clean but it is showing its age. It could use a little refresh. The location is not that close to find food options. I found the neighborhood to be not family friendly.

I love this property, beds and rooms are great. Front desk staff is so kind. However the parking isn't great, just not enough. We happen to stay during a hockey tournament weekend and they were out of control in the hallways
