Place was good and clean. And room was good too. And service was nice

I have stayed at this hotel many times, always with a satisfactory stay. This time it was awful. The room was dark since it only had on light bulb instead of 4. There was no chair to sit on to eat. No toilet paper. The remote did not function correctly. The heating unit was malfunctioning. The shower faucet when the new shower was installed, they ran the pipes to the wrong connectors...Red was cold and blue was hot. The doors on the shower were reversed making it difficult to get in. The refrigerator did not keep my food cold.

This place was just dumpy. I was given my room key, went to the room, and left after about 10 minutes. I didn't even stay or sleep in the room -- just could not do it. I booked at a different hotel and stayed there. I returned my Microtel key the next morning. For anyone considering this hotel, I would advise you to just sleep in your car. It will be an upgrade.

The bed slept well and the room was clean. There was a leak in the bathroom facet that sprayed water when turned on. The breakfast was next to nothing. The coffee in the lobby was cold and not good. Only one of the desk staff was nice and friendly. The other two men I saw on different shifts were rude and unfriendly. One patron has NO hot water and the desk clerk should have moved him to another room but did not. This property is POORLY managed and the desk staff are not taught to be friendly or helpful. Very very disapointing.

The hotel was undergoing a remodel. The room itself was nice enough- bed was comfortable, ac wouldn't stay cold overnight, bathroom was not very clean and the sink faucet wasn't even attached to the counter. There isn't an elevator which would have been very helpful to know prior to booking. The key cards would not hold the programming for more than 1 night. We had to get the keys reprogrammed daily. Again, information that would have been nice to have when we arrived. The staff knew of the issue but did not inform any of the guests (we overheard others with the same issue). It was a hassle to have to go to the desk every evening and wait for someone to acknowledge we were there only for them to laugh it off that we were having key issues night after night.

The person that checked us in was frazzled and would answer his phone, poor customer service. The frig smelled, room was not finished from redo, spots not painted. Had to get multiple keys because because it would once and then not work.

This place has one of the rudest hotel clerks who accused me of walking in with an attitude when I asked for a room on the first floor. No elevator. No offer of assistance. Had to drag bags up to the second floor for an overnight stay. The breakfast was horrible. No coffee, green bananas, no juice. The room was barely acceptable.
