This is our second time staying at a Formula One Hotel. We found the Lille Métropole to be clean, the area surrounding the hotel felt safe even at night and access into the centre of Lille was simple as the metro was only a 5 mins walk away from the hotel, we also found the staff to be friendly, the breakfast box to be good value and enjoyable and the free secure gated parking was an added benefit. We will definitely look to stay at this particular hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel twice: in December 2022 and in February 2024. The location might not be the most obvious (however, it takes about 8 minutes of leisurely walk to both metro stations in between which the hotel is located). The location on its own is a little bit outside of the city centre, however, you get from this hotel to the city centre rather quickly. There's a shopping centre next door, which takes half of the distance to the nearest metro station. The hotel is relatively new (I think when we were there in 2022 it just opened), therefore most things are still in a very decent shape. Both times when we stayed at this hotel, we observed that it was sparkling clean. The size of the rooms is also large by French standards, and the rooms are fairly well-equipped. The only 2 pieces of criticism that we could offer would be to replace paper cups with porcelain cups in the room (if possible) and ensure that the soap is replenished (we got a refill bottle at reception, but it would've been so much less hassle if the hotel would've put it in advance). The WiFi works well. We didn't try any breakfast at this hotel, as on both occasions we had planned brunches with friends, however. judging by the price and the looks of it as we were passing by, it would be a good value.

The hotel offers free on site parking in their underground car park which was a huge bonus as we’d travelled with car via the euro tunnel. Lille is easily accesssible from the bus stop opposite for €2 each way, just catch the L5. The rooms are a good size, clean and quiet. Furnishings look quite new and rooms provide tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast is all very tasty; a small hot selection of scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon. The continental choices of breads and pastries were very fresh. The staff are all very pleasant and friendly, offering some assistance to us when needing advice on how to travel to Stade Pierre Maroy at night.

An array of delights await at this hotel should you be lucky enough to have booked here. This hotel is cheap but after staying I’m surprised you aren’t paid to stay here. To say the hotel is rundown is a complete understatement. We were lucky enough to have such optional extras as a random broken piece of furniture complete with piece of wood sticking out. There were a number of questionable stains on walls, carpets and bedding which certainly filled the time trying to guess what sort of breach of human rights created them. The smell was certainly interesting, I would guess cigarette smoke from a bygone age but really who knows. The caravan style shower and bathroom was a delight, particularly when the water pressure was so poor you had to manually flush a turd away.

We stayed here over the Paris Roubaix weekend, had an excellent stay. Great breakfast, parking close by, Easily Cycleable to the Roubaix velodrome in the morning. The manager was extremely helpful, and good English which was useful as my French is terrible. The room was comfortable, could probably do with a couple more pillows, and it was a touch warm, no matter what we pressed to cool it down, but the window was easily opened to let a breeze in.

On a bien dormis, le petit déjeuner est très bien. Personnels sympas. C'était très bien, pas de regrets. Merci beaucoup.

We stayed here on our journey home from Germany. It’s within easy distance of Calais and isn’t far from the autoroute. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel has an outdoor pool, but the weather wasn’t warm enough for us to consider using it. However, it was warm enough to sit out in the attractive grounds. We also sat out in the evening for a drink in the outdoor dining area, which is pleasant enough, but could do with a little attention to get rid of things such as the rusty edges to parasol bases. There is a huge shopping centre, including an Auchan supermarket just across the road from the hotel. This includes plenty of restaurants if you want something different from the hotel restaurant. We’d be happy to stay here again if we were travelling in that area.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect area only 5 mins walk to Meningate. Hotel is larger than we where expecting. We were in room 342 on third floor there was another floor! Lift’s where great tho. .. the hotel is absolutely spotless. Room very comfortable and spacious with everything you need. Even a Nespresso coffee machine. Room cleaned every day. Nice shower with a separate toilet. Hot and cold breakfast buffet everything was very fresh and constantly topped up. Nice outside seating area with cosy blankets provided for a chilli evening. Nice hotel bar, staff there really helpful would highly recommend this hotel. Church carpark cheap and safe.

Sur le thème du cinéma qui était installé précédemment et dont la façade a été conservée et intégrée , on retrouve le confort et la propreté habituels des Ibis , l’isolation phonique est parfaite et aucun bruit dans une chambre dominant la gare . Un personnel charmant et très disponible , un salon/bar/co working accueillant et décontracté . pas de restaurant pour l’instant , mais possibilité de snackings le soir .

We stay here on regular basis since hotel opening and it was always in a suite, This time it was not available to book so we went for „business suite” thinking that apart from big conference table, everything will be the same. It has really akward layout - toilet is by the front door, then there is long walk to the bedroom where there is a bathroom - it is narrow and only with a shower, not bathtub - sorry I expect both in the suite, just like it is in the one we were staying before. There is a table with 8 chairs, seemingly for the business meetings but there are no sockets nearby at all, except by the kitchenette. Additionally wifi is very poor, My husband went on the important work call and has been disconnected. Phone signal is inconsistent - from E, to 3G to 4G at times. If hotel calls it business suite - it is misleading as it does not have basic business facilities. I would pass the comments by the checkout but receptionist did not ask me how my stay was. She just took the payment without saying much. Since we had this big table we thought we may just as well use it and order room service. You can only do it from 6 pm and 25 euros per burger is pricey but we went for it as there is nothing nearby. We end up bringing it to the suite ourselves. Food was of good quality. We also got 2 drinks for platinum member voucher. Mixed feelings this time.
