麥當勞胡斯頓之家酒店(Macdonald Houstoun House)

Room was lovely just one small issue there was hair bobbles belonging to someone else with hair attached on floor in the room when we arrived,we disposed of them in the trash bin.The staff were amazing as i was getting married the following day,they went above and beyond to help me. The hotel and grounds are stunning and would not hesitate to book again.Breakfast fantastic choice.

Family stay for one night, in deluxe family room which was a good size and in the block beside the pool/spa. The bed was comfortable, our 12 year old was quite comfortable on the double sofa bed. Nice touch with the Elemis toiletries in the room. Breakfast was buffet style and a fresh cooked option also. This was well cooked and ingredients of quality. Had to ask for toast however, and thought the buffet style was a bit limited in areas for our daughter who wanted the continental option. We used the pool which was very clean and not overcrowded, there were plenty of loungers and seating. Would stay again although at £214 for the night I wouldn’t want to be paying anymore.

We stayed for one night with the dogs. The staff were so friendly. The room was spacious (delux double) and plenty of room for three. The grounds were great for walking the dogs. We had a burger in the bar which was great and the dogs could go there too. There is a table in reception with treats for them! The waitress even brought them a bowl of water when she brought our drinks. Comfy beds too. All in all fab stay and will return.

Entered my room to realise that it was extremely cold. Found out the radiator was not working. Contacted reception who checked and confirmed it wasn't working. Not offered another room but instead a small fan heater that then had to be turned off when not in the room or sleeping as it' a fire hazard. It did eventually heat up the room but then headed out for dinner and when I returned room cold again. Similar overnight and struggled for sleep. Possibly due to the cold room, the bathroom had mould across the ceiling. Not what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel and won't be staying again. On the plus side, the breakfast was good!

Sid our French bulldog was very impressed with the amount of free biscuits he received along with the attention he received from all of the staff He also met a new friend called frankie (the young jug) a Jack Russell pug cross Thanks for a lovely stay

the staff are fabulous and so very helpful. A wonderful place to stay. the facilities are great and food divine. one point to be eco friendly and purely a personal choice would be that there is no need to replace towels daily unless they are placed in the bath

Had a fabulous stay. The staff were fantastic. the room was one of the largest we have every had in a hotel and the food was really good. would definitely stay again

This was our first stay in Scotland after traveling from the USA. The property was beautiful, easy to get to especially navigating driving on the opposite side of the road than what we are used to. Everyone was kind, welcoming and super pretty property. We all wish we had more time here to further explore the beautiful property. Only heads up - watch the heavy bags my friends no lifts up the stairs. :) We ate dinner in the bar which was super yummy and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Breakfast was one of the best that we had on the trip as well. Highly recommend signing up for breakfast - chef was really great...especially on dinner and I loved how many options there were for those with allergies - we're dairy free!

Nice boutique hotel with friendly welcoming staff, nice restaurant and food with a very cozy bar.
