Excellent stay at Llanelli Sandpiper Premier Inn - staff very helpful and breakfast was excellent. Beautiful lake at the back of the restaurant - I had a lovely walk around it before breakfast

Love the location of this hotel. The walk around the lake and onto the beach is great. Never tire of the view. Rooms are clean and comfortable. You cross the carpark to use The Brewers Fayre for breakfast. Ann is a fantastic server who has worked there some time. Nothing is too much trouble for her, every time we stay and have breakfast. The only downside this trip was poor internet connection, it kept kicking us off even when we paid extra for the Ultimate WiFi package. TBH we did get this refunded, but it's hard to plan further ongoing travel with limited WiFi.

We were travelling for a 50k Ultra Challenge so would only be sleeping at the hotel. we found the hotel to be wonderful, Helen gave is a very warm welcome and checked us in. The reception area was very clean and tidy with some beautiful local merchandise on offer aswell as tea and coffee. Our rooms were very spacious and exceptionally clean. Well stocked with tea and coffee. The bathroom especially the shower was amazing and very much appreicated after walking 50k in 25 degree heat in 12 hours. The Bed was very welcoming and was so comfy and smelled fresh. I would highly recommend this hotel, and we will definatly be staying again in the future.

Booked 2 rooms in order to attend a family wedding in the town. Room was very clean and well laid out. Bed was a little firm but is was a hot night and the air con was lush. Slept well. Wedding venue was a 5 min walk from hotel so perfect spot. Double bonus is was a short walk to the beach as well. Breakfast was provided by the Brewers Fayre pub next door and was good quality and plenty of it. Would definitely stay in a premier inn again

The best warm welcome I've had and I live out of Premier Inns due to work. And because I was getting in late Muffy went above and beyond to ensure I had a warm meal waiting on my arrival. Just excellent.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed 12 nights. One of the best Premier Inn hotels we have stayed in. Pub is in a lovely location overlooking the lake. Staff at the pub are friendly and helpful, very good food.

From the first moment of our arrival at reception we could tell how Premier Inns have lowered their standards, we were told that if we wished to book in 3/4 of an hour early it would cost £15. The room provided was adequate although noisy from the outside air conditioning, our rooms was turned off. The pillow case was worn and holed and the duvet cover was stained. Only one pillow per guest was provided and a total of two tea bags. Car parking was difficult as car park seemed quite full during the day till late evening. So all in all not welcoming, noisy and no sense of being cared about.

I took my family to visit in-laws in wales - we live in Manchester so after a four hour drive we got to the Sandpiper premier inn Llanelli and we were spoilt from the start Staff on the desk at 11 pm at night offered to help with our stuff to the room and helped out with the doors also we have a severely disabled Daughter and Matthew the manager put cones in one of the disabled bays some we always had a space to get her Wheelchair closer to the doors as it rained the first two days I can’t thank the staff enough it really gave the family touch that a lot of these hotels sorely miss we will definately stay here again Oh and also the breakfast was amazing too cherry on the cake !!!!

After 6 hours travelling down to Llanelli to see family, we needed a later check in time. This hotel were able to accommodate us! Thank you! Had the best few days at this hotel, the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. The rooms are lovely and modern. The beds are very comfortable. Staff were very pleasant, helpful and full of knowledge about the surrounding areas and things to do! We had food in brewers fayre which was also fantastic. Deffinatly would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Plenty of free parking spaces. Remember to register your reg number on arrival. We booked a room on the day of staying. £52 room only for two on a Sunday evening. Great price for a comfortable bed and clean room. Can't ask for more. Check out the following day is at 12pm. Ideal for a lie in! The Sandpiper Brewers Fayre is located next door. We booked a table for 6pm. Great food for great prices.

Comfortable, quiet & warm with friendly & welcoming staff. However, this particular Inn really needs to sort out the television reception. Very, very limited channel choice. Having used this particular Inn before, this is clearly on ongoing issue and not a one off with a particular room.

Hotel was great. Reception staff very welcoming and friendly. Let down badly by the breakfast at Brewers Fayre. Very low quality ingredients, arrived to table barely warm. Far too expensive at £10:99, cheaper and superior quality breakfast can be found locally.

My partner and I were given a warm welcome at reception upon entry to Premier Inn. The receptionist was very friendly and sweet. The restaurant next door also served great food. 10/10 for everything. Great view from the restaurant and fun walk to the beach.

Very friendly staff, even had a courtesy call 2 days before. Quiet and peaceful, lovely location by a lake. Had a good nights rest. Nice breakfast. Only one slightly down full that day, no boiler for tea. Spoke to the staff and they said it was broken. She did manage to fill a teapot from the coffee machine which she had to stop before the coffee was dispensed. What happened to good old fashioned kettles, even if the staff used them to prevent a risks. Room was well appointed. Personally I would prefer a walk in shower but I think you can have in some areas when up grading. Good curtains to block out the light. Value for money.
